Well done boss

Ronaldo was clearly not 100%, Bale was Bale, Modric agreed outstanding, BUT they were only 1 goal to the good, and in the last 20 mins we should have had a go, we did not and like the managers personality were nice but oh so weak and mellow. White flags were flying, and for me that simply not acceptable,

As said before Wio in the studio was taking the urine, and he was justified, and that hurts!

Regardless of whether Ronaldo 100% that is a side littered with quality players.

Yes we should have had a go but at that stage the players were knackered having bust their bollocks for 70 minutes trying to maintain a shape to keep them out and getting no relief as DeBruyne, Aguero and Yaya kept losing possession cheaply every time we managed to get hold of the ball.

I think Pellegrini got things wrong over the course of the two legs but I'm not having it that the players didn't give their all.

What were we trying to do in that second leg? Because we clearly didn't believe we could win it and that's unforgivable considering the sacrifices that were made in other competitions just so we could go out with a wimper in the SF of the CL. I don't know how anyone defends that sort of mentality. Our players should have been good enough to give them a game and they bloody well didn't.
Perfectly put

The Champions league is not always won by the best team, Chelsea and the Rags were testament to that. We were far from the best team this year, but I think we had a great chance to get to the final, then who knows....we blew it, and big time.

we did believe we could get the away goal, the plan was obviously to try contain them and sneak a goal on the counter. Unfortunately our three match winners all had stinkers on the night, there's no legislating for that.

If you think he would accept that performance with a team with his name on it, your going to be in for one hell of a shock and may I say love the results.

Of course he's not going to accept it but I'd wager he saw it for what it was and not believe nonsense like we went there with no intention of getting the result we needed.

Don't you think Manchester City Football club is littered with quality I do.

I watched the game with completer and utter contempt, similar to watching the away match at Southampton, the cup final against Wigan and the game under Mancini away at Southampton (0-4).

Yes, do I think we're on Madrid's level? No still a bit away yet.
agreed, but as said in a cup match the best team does not always win.

I remember watching the rags in the final against Bayern, a night I will never forget, one of my worst life experiences ever.

Bayern utterly and totally destroyed them, made then look like fools, all for 89 mins, but to our pain we know what happened.

Obviously letting them previous no shows cloud your judgement when it came to us being bettered by a superior side I would suggest.

Tell me, who didn't put the effort in that night, I saw only one - Yaya. The rest tried their best, it just wasn't good enough, simple.

That is precise , to the point and totally correct .

Don't put the blame on one player, who was clearly no where near fit. I watched Sergio not busting a gut, I watched a player who I think is the nearest guy I have seen to King Colin (KDB) trot about the pitch, I watched players accept defeat...at any level even Sunday league....NOT ACCEPTABLE

I'm not putting the blame on one player, I have said previously said that Aguero, Yaya and DeBruyne were all poor, but in Aguero and DeBruyne's case that wasn't for lack of trying, they both just had stinkers, Yaya on the other hand well.....

Btw DeBruyne trotted 11.5 km in that game.

Correct.

I am still angry after the Madrid performance, so I would hate to think what our magnificent owner thinks after putting a billion or so or his hard earned cash just for a moment like that!

I don't give a dam about statistics, he did not turn up on the night.

You pay 50million and 200k week for matches like Madrid.

Cometh the man, cometh the hour

He ran 11.5 km ffs, he played poorly, it happens sometimes despite effort.

James Milner runs more than any player on the planet,,, why>? because he is average and has to and respect to him for it.

We are talking about one of the worlds best players, I don't give a flying *uck how far he runs. its what he contributes in the match and it was little on that night
