End of Season MCFC Survey

Would it affect you're life if you just said you kept an eye on the other teams results or something? The standard of the mls is obviously not great but I've never watched a game before until we set up NYCFC? Now I watch them when time differences allow!

Aren't you missing the point that the ones asking these questions simply like an honest answer so they can act accordingly the results?

When people slate the other clubs within the CFG I don't understand that either. Why slate them if you hold no interest whatsoever in these clubs that hardly influence the one you support.

I wouldn't slate them as like you say, they hold no interest for me. When asked my opinion about them I think it's fair to answer that I've no interest though and not try and sugarcoat it.

I told them, within the bounds of the survey, that I would like to know more about our overseas efforts. Melbourne and NY are now well-established, Yokohama (which they asked about how well-informed we feel) had just as well be on the moon as we know absolutely sweet FA. Sod all has happened for years - every so often they say about a new relationship in Portugal, China or South Africa, or here and there, and then nothing is ever heard again.

So lets get some info chaps?!

I didn't get this email, i want to do the survey, how do you get to do it?

Playing Devil's Advocate....

Has anyone got any concrete evidence that the club take no notice of what the fans state?

It should be noted that surveys are used to measure opinions, behaviours and attitudes, they are not referenda.

Not for one second did I slate our franchise clubs. I just said that I have no interest in them. Which I haven't.

I was thinking the same. Not a bad season and omens good for next season :)

When i get to fill this in, i will be mainly positive.
£360 season ticket, price freeze, Kevin De, Capitol Cup, Champs league, fantastic stadium, fantastic facilities. The playing staff and manager under performed - not help by lots of injuries.

I will show disgruntlement with food prices, queuing times and lack of enough mens toilet facitities in SSL3 (they need to convert at least one ladies toilet to a mens). I will also tell them to relay the the match on the TVs in SSL3.

If i was a everton (shite ground, shite squad etc) or a newcastle, norwich, Villa fan i might be very negative - but i dont support them.

So, some minor moans for me, but the glass is definitely half full imo.

I completed the survey.

Like several on here, I feel more distant from the club than last year (and I was not happy at the end of that).

I don't think the club will ignore the survey. First of all, I suspect the questions are asked to reflect concerns on their part (e.g. that supporters are disenchanted). Second, why do the survey just to ignore it; not worth the effort or thinking about the questions. Third, the badge consultation suggests that the club does take notice. Fourth, I have gained the impression from Danny Wilson that they do care.

Even if you look at it on a cynical level (i.e. commerciality) then there are reasons to believe the club gives real consideration to what is said. The aim in expanding the stadium is to have a larger, semi permanent, fan base buying SC's. That is less likely if fans feel disconnected and if they feel the football (let alone the 'match day experience') has been poor. One of the features likely to sell their brand is fans who are enthused and so extoll the virtues of supporting the club.

I can't imagine a clearer message to the club than the number who remained after the last home game and (from this thread at least) the response to the survey.

I did however say that I was optimistic, and I am because of the arrival of Pep.

Is there a link to do this survey?

The invitation I had made it clear that they were seeking input to shape the future direction and strategy of the Club and as such were only targeting those City fans that they considered to be of high intellect and could offer an opinion that would be of value to Pep as he sets about getting us back on track after last season's relative disappointments.

Mine was forwarded to me by GDM.
