Only if he can deliver, and frankly, he has a hell of a job on with that mutley squad
There has been so much fractiousness and resistance behind the scenes about this appointment, led by Sir Ticket Tout. They are a house divided.

Who leaked the story? Apparently it wasn't United ... it certainly wasn't LVG because he was still parading the Cup when his missus told him he was getting the tin tack, hence his stroppy press conference after the game ... so that only leaves Mourinho. That suggests he decided to piss on LVG's chips and put the spotlight on himself rather than let LVG bask in a moment's glory.

Mourinho is certainly not a shrinking violet and an ego maniac , so that is highly likely . Perfect match for the Rags as they believe the world revolves around them . Will be a sh*tstorm of media headlines with this toxic partnership.

I truly believe that Pep will be on a personal mission to crush these toe rags and their eye-gouging ways.

I'd say the family man might have seen his arse when he realised he wasn't going to be the only one hiding in laundry baskets on his illicit adventures anymore.

Hayley McQueen tweeted Mendez leaked it to the media.

It's a match made in Heaven. Remember Mourinho's comments about Lampard playing for us? Something along the lines of "Once you go to a direct rival, everything must be forgotten"? Wonder how Chelsea supporters feel about all this. It's also hilarious that "the Ushited way" is "attack attack attack" and they'll be parking the bus against us, Arsenal, Spurs, so on and so forth. If Zlatan is off to there I'd assume its for astronomical wages. The scum are turning into a comedy club.

He's perfect for them, a twat leading twats

Any idea what the hold up is? Not particularly worried about Mourinho going there (think it will all end in tears) but it would be hilarious if they managed to balls this up somehow given all the publicity

Oh dear, looks like we've been sussed by some clever **** on Rag Cafe - City fans would sooner see us lose out on the league title if it meant United got relegated. Bastard - I thought they'd never work out that I hate United more than I love City....

"I have been on a lot of other clubs forums over the years, seen all the bitter rivalry between many rival clubs, BUT i genuinely believe that City fans are the only football fans in the country that would rather see us fail then City succeed.
Example, if them losing the final game of a season meant thet they would miss out on the league but we would get relegated, they would pick that over winning, i honestly believe that."

I wouldn't.

City and City's success are most important to me, but it's fucking hilarious watching becoming exactly what we were for many more years than any of us care to remember.

Your right Pam, and can only see it ending in further disappointment for them. It will be interesting to see what changes he wants to make and, more importantly, is his name strong enough these days to attract top players. Without CL, I think not.

The Terry Christian hate spewing Talk Shite meltdown on the day Pep was announced was a glorious example of this terrible bitterness of their's.

The eye gouger will deliver trophies without doubt during his time there. Not sure how long he will be at the swamp for,but I'd put money on him winning the league in the next 2 years. The bullying of refs will reach a level not even Ferguson could reach,if we think the bias of refs during his era was bad just wait for next season and beyond.

just a thought...are the media trying to force the rags into doing something or is the special needs one really going to them ? the bbc reporting that an announcement was supposed to be made by 5pm but nothing but silence and this from last week got me thinking.....
Jose Mourinho has reportedly held talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the possibility of replacing manager Laurent Blanc this summer, meaning Manchester United could be set to lose out unless they enter the fray soon.

That's according to the Daily Mail's Sami Mokbel, who reported Mourinho "wants a deal agreed by next week," so if United do not make the decision to replace Louis van Gaal shortly after Saturday's FA Cup final, they may find the top candidate to replace him has gone to the French capital.

Mokbel wrote that current PSG boss Blanc could be at risk of being replaced due to the club's persistent failure to make a significant impact on the latter stages of the UEFA Champions League—something Mourinho has experience in having lifted the trophy with FC Porto and Inter Milan.

The eye gouger has coveted this job for years now. Because he is a twat. There will be an announcement soon enough and Maureen to the swamp will lead to great hilarity in the end. Mark my words, the guy is mentally unstable.

Talking about it on 5Live now. Good point about van Gaal after a 35 year coaching career hearing about his sacking from his wife, who read it on the BBC. Trevor Sinclair going on about someone leaking the details.

Im still to be convinced he will be their new manager , why is there no confirmation of lvg sacking ? and mourinho by all accounts did meet with PSG last week
