The idea that Custis is a journalist of any kind is laughable. What he peddles, with his slimy chums at the Sun, is propaganda based on half-truths. Nobody has suggested that United leaked the story. It has been coming out of the Mourinho camp for months to try and destabilise LVG. You can be sure that the Sun's coverage of Mourinho at United will be as biased and sycophantic as their coverage of his antics at Chelsea. Like many thousands of North West football fans (not just Merseyside) I haven't bought The Sun since 1989. Custis is a piece of work. The tabloids will get stuck into Pep at the first opportunity but Mourhinho (and Klopp) will get a free pass. The sports press has acted like a pack for decades. They collaborate on the big stories and that's why all the criticism from United players was the same in each paper.

At one stage, Kelly claimed there are issues at City, but no mention of the state of the rags' squad.

Used to like Danny Kelly when he was at BBC, but he's clearly got a problem with us. At least his team nearly won the league!

Heard that and a couple of other things came to mind. In the segment they do coming out of the news, when he was trying to whip up a fury, a couple of times he forgot to mention Pep's name in the list of managers. They then went on to say that if we don't start well, the fans will turn on Pep.

Why the feck would that happen?

I rang in to say how can this even be a question now, judge them on the signings, how they strengthen the squads. Guess what, no call back

On a side note, met the Yorkshire guy a couple of times through work when he did Strictly Come Dancing. He's far from thick and has a very different persona in real life.

Quick tip for you. Next time, say you want to talk about something you know they'll want to hear, then when you're called back and on air, just talk about what you wanted to talk about instead.

Listened for a bit this morning. Who is that stupid woman on there? Clearly no interest or knowledge of football or any sport. No problem with that, but obviously working to a cringeworthy script to make it sound like she's into it and sounds so plastic.
I think having a lady presenter on Sunday morning is just a way to make white van man's wife put up with it so he can be fed more selco ads. Total toss, and a waste of ten minutes.
