Both are gifted on the ball, skillful, creative & score goals. But both are inconsistent. Nasri is more frustrating because he can be lazy, but James avoids criticism because Real don't need to rely on him, and as I've emphasised, because he's a "name".

I wouldn't say Nasri is as creative or as much of a goal-threat that James is. Nasri is consistent in the sense you know what you'll get from him; some nice touches, but doesn't control or take over a game. Him hiding behind Dzeko in the derby showed me where his mindset is.

Toni Kroos could become only the second player to win the champions league with 3 different clubs. ;-)

Nasri is a player that I just don't rate. He has 6 months at Arsenal where he was great but, since then, hasn't shown he's a top player.

Although I don't doubt that James Rodriguez is very talented player, it's often overlooked that Samir Nasri was a genuine phenomenon when he broke into the Marseille first team as a teenager and maintained that reputation until he joined Arsenal.

I thought he struggled for a while to adjust at Arsenal, although he wasn't exactly bad either and still only the age Sterling is now. After that he was unstoppable.

Since joining us, he's been one of the most misused players I've ever seen. If he's given a central role and he can ever be arsed to challenge himself again, he'll go back to being that phenomenon.

Maybe that will be for us, maybe it won't.

He had all the potential in the world to be world class. Issue is that his mentality towards football changed. Look at all the top players and how invested they all in matches; they want to win at all costs and people often simply put it down to ego. The desire to succeed and become the best is something Nasri doesn't have or has lost along the way; he's happy to collect a paycheck without being invested in the result of the game. That's why, when the going gets tough, Nasri is often not seen.

Why would we walk away from a Pogba deal now?....werent the rumours that we walked away last year as well, because the fee/wages were higher than we wanted to go....should have been no surprises this time round..I'm more concerned about him going to another prem team than us missing out, as I think Kroos would be a perfect system fit for us....
