Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Though still would be great signing though, don't get me wrong.
But if he does come, can't afford to have a 3-4 month blip / injury early on, or muss ant chances, or he would be the new £50mn waste of money, coward, doesn't work hard, technically limited scapegoat.

We went head to head with bayern over kdb and won so jothing really to fear from them and by all accounts he wants to play in England!
Has he said that? All I've read from him is he wants to go to Real Madrid, he's said that numerous times. And has said if not Real then another big club in Spain (i.e. Barca). Spain seems his preferred destination by some distance for him to specifically mention it numerous times.

Didn't TH post we'd break the British transfer record?....not sure it was TH,someone did.
How much this fella going for?

It's going to take a 55-60mil offer to get Aubameyang......so it might take a british transfer record to get him.....its currently £59.7mil which the rags paid for Di Maria

British record is £60m....world record £85m?I think......gotta be more in that bracket than pogba..no?
World record is €100 mill for Bale, which at the time was £85 mill. €100 mill now would only be £76 mill so depends how the world record is counted I guess in euros. But yes the record paid by a British team is the £59 mill for Dimaria, about € 78 mill today so there would be a few players at that level but not many.

According to Sky: http://www.skysports.com/football/n...ed-have-no-plans-to-appoint-sporting-director

'Reports claimed United could pay as much as £61.5m if all the clauses in Martial's transfer are met, while Tottenham were quoted a much lower figure weeks before the player moved to Old Trafford.'

I Don't think city would just pay that. We'd try and get it Lower and performance based

Like we did with Sterling and KDB?

Wouldn't spend £60m on him or at least not prioritise it over CM and full backs that we need.

I can't see Dortmund letting him go especially if Mkhitaryan goes. Gundogan and Hummels are already good as gone. Dortmund don't strike me as a team that would let all their players leave at once. This is the same club that let Lewandoski wind down his contract instead of selling him just to hold onto him for another year.

They will not win Rags Financial Trophy anytime soon if they continue to do that.

Talk of Auba and Sane...
Dybala would be a better signing. Younger, can play both positions, more creative than Auba, readymade Aguero replacement when the (sad, sad) day comes, wouldn't stifle Iheanacho/Roberts as much, no AFCON nonsense, he "dreams" of playing for us, would give Pep the more compacts squad and would save money to spend on CM

Plus he's an Argie. Argies and City mix

we fucked up Dybala guy. Could have got him for same money we got Bony for and he was publicly stating that City would be a dream move.
