Quite a few of the "sources" on News Now are putting a £70m price tag on this kids head????
47 games, 40 goals and 5 assists in one season would do that nowadays. Haven't seen much of him but that scoring record speaks for itself

11 goals in the Europa league(3 in qualifiers & 8 in proper) boosts those stats up significantly. And i'd forget them in the grand scheme of his valuation as everyone scores loads in it.
He's a £25mil striker at most.
I'd see him at ~£40m value, but don't see Dortmund letting him go for below ~£60m, mainly because they're losing all their best players as it is - if he were to leave as well they'll be damn sure wanting to get an over payment.I only counted his 8 goals in actual competition of the europa league and I think there is 50+ teams that start off in the group stages, only 12 players ended up with more than 5 goals. I'm not saying he's a £70m player, but he's definitely not a £25m.

Then where did you get 40 goals from? 25 league + 3 cup + 8 euro = 36....His goals for Gabon?
Anyway here's the top scorers in the last 10 years of the Europa League
Matias Delgado - 9
Pavel Pognebrak & Luca Toni - 10
Vagner Love - 11
Oscar Cardozo & Cladio Pizarro - 9
Falcao - 17
Falcao - 12
Libor Kozak - 8
Jonathan Soriano - 8
Alan & Lukaku - 8
Aduriz - 10
Europa league just makes average players look better than they are mainly due to the vast diffence in quality between the decent teams in it and the rest. Of the 5 from that list to play in this league only Lukaku has succeeded(though he was already here), the rest(Pognebrak, Pizarro, Falcao & Kozak) all flopped.
See how Aubameyang fairs in the champions league before sticking him with a price tag that'll get you actual world class players.
I think we are going to find this summer that 25 million will get you relatively little, certainly not a player who has scored 54 goals in 94 appearances in the league for Dortmund and has a very good reputation.11 goals in the Europa league(3 in qualifiers & 8 in proper) boosts those stats up significantly. I think people have trouble grasping realistic values of players, even managers like ferguson and Wenger who spent years not buying players because there was supposedly "no value in the market." It is almost pointless saying he is worth this or that, it means nothing because the market is shifting so massively so quickly every summer I don't think anybody really has an idea of relative values of players. So you either pay what it takes to get a player if you desperately want him and take the hit or you don't but then you know that alternative targets are unlikely to be better value or else they're going to be a shite, "false economy" compromise. As for Aubameyang, he has a pretty much identical goals per league match record as Lewandowski had at Dortmund, he is quick and strong and is a very decent finisher, rightly he's going to be viewed as one of the best strikers in Europe who can realistically be got out of his current club this summer, to say he is worth 25 million is just not even approaching reality.Agreed, £25m is chump change. Football is awash with cash, even championship clubs are paying over £10m for players so there will be a lot of premier league and top european clubs paying way over £10m for players.
He is very quick minded, like kdb. Also very direct so those 2 will lik up well. He will probably play in the villa/muller role ccupying one of the wings, playing off the shoulder of aguero. Good technically and similar to henry. If we have the funds, we should definately sign him.Only really interested in how he will play in our team. How will he link up with aguero and KDB ? Bony scored plenty at Swansea but then fell flat on his face at city !
Will this guy fit into Peps team ? Is he a one season wonder or will he flourish at mcfc

He has been ruined by the knee injury he got, before that he was brilliant and i would have loved him here, sad to see injury ruin a great talent39 goals: 25 league + 3 cup + 11 euro (3 in qualifying).
Transfermarkt has him at 12 assists.
Another 4 goals and 2 assists for Gabon.
Falcao flopped??? He absolutely bossed it at Athletico and La Liga. He's a bit like Torres: had a short period where he was an elite striker, then tumbled down to overpriced mediocrity.
