Why would Guardiola have that written in his contract? It's a contract between City and Pep, nothing to do with Bayern. His contract ended there and started here, there was no negotiation between Bayern and City. At best they've had his word he won't sign any Bayern players, surely. Not that I think we'll go after any of them.

Genuine curiosity here: are there not "non-compete" clauses in football? They're standard in business. If you're the CEO of Yahoo for example, and you resign, then there's usually a stipulation that you can't begin work with another competing company for 6-12 months. The contract is over, but that doesn't mean there aren't terms within the contract that have effects reaching beyond the length of your employment. I know the same is true in European business (so it's permutable by law), but genuinely not sure if there are any non-compete clauses in football.

Such a clause would restrict the right of trade of a Bayern player so wouldn't stand up in law imho

This is what Pierre menes just tweeted to Aubameyang:

@Aubameyang7 I remind you that more than 50 m transfer you owe me a jacket in gold on measurement

So does he know he's leaving for more then 50m?

link to the tweet mate? just went through his timeline

Like I've said multiple times over the last month, it is more likely Nasri or Dihno leaves than it is Nando

out of them two it would surely be nasri

Personally I would want to give nasri a chance under pep

Fernandihnio should stay without question for me

The original tweet was in another language, that's the translated version

Je ne comprends toujours pas.

Is he just saying that Aubameyang promised him a golden jacket if he fetches a £50m transfer fee and that, because he requested it to fit and he's cartoonishly rotund, it would be worth quite a bit?

Sounds more like a bit of a joke (which probably sounds better in French).

Guardiola assures Fernando of Man City future - but will not move for Kroos or Wilshere - MEN

I took it as he might know he's gona go for over 50m so he's reminding him of a bet they have.
