Before you were talking about standing up for workers rights, now it's about how much YOU pay for a plumber and electrician. Words actually fail me.
The British plumbers and electricians must be so grateful for the foreign competition.
It amazes me how some can see no problem with imported labour that diminishes wages, yet see the EU as champions of workers rights.

Yes standing up for the rights of UK citizens both as workers and consumers.

Under your rationale you would write a blank check to any homegrown plumber or electrician. Hilarious!

I wonder why no one has considered that if we leave there will be a chance for new companies to spring up making new jobs and producing the items that we have been importing from the EU. A leave vote could be the biggest boost for the economy in decades and a huge opportunity for British entrepreneurs. I accept we will not be able to replace everything like for like but non the less a potentially massive opportunity.

Haha so you think it was great to be charged a £50 call out fee before a job had even been inspected. Brilliant!

Oh for Christs sake. It's not Boris's glass to start pouring into. Why don't you get that. He cannot produce a detailed manifesto as he is not pushing for a new government.
I give up.

Mate....this is a disagreement of opinion....It is the glass that he(Boris), Gove and everyone else that wants to leave is offering....As soon as Boris (or anyone) stands up in front of millions asking for us to agree and follow "their" view.....they need to tell us what those views entail..I disagree that "running away from the EU" should be enough detail for me to make an intelligent/informed decision to risk what I have now....I'm not thick enough to not understand that Boris doesnt run the country and its not his problem to fix the mess after we leave but as a spokesperson for it, he's selling an idea he cant back up with reason....We are all different so not knocking your view mate....some of us jump at the chance of change without knowing what that change would cost....for me wanting/needing to know more from the "leave" campaign is just rational thinking?

You believe EU is the cause of our problems and I dont believe they are...which is why I voting "stay"....Its that simple!

I wondered when you'd come back after admitting profiteering from the Referendum. Comedy gold!

You have been the one championing workers and How nobody from brexit gives a shit about workers rights. Then you post what really matters to you.

Honestly you could not make it up. The reality is you do not care about anything but yourself and are voting based on that view. That is fine and a lot of people will be , there I nothing wrong with that , but please don't pretend you care about business, workers, immigrants or anything else for that matter.

I'm afraid you're contradicting yourself mate, you want to take full advantage cheap imported labour brings, yet call a businessman fit to burn
for daring to exploit the very same cheap labour by moving abroad.

He makes it up for sure. Especially his recollections of what others have previously said. A wum pure and simple.

Rather that try and look for answers and reassurances that are simply not possible to give ( Though the remain side are certainly willing to lie they can ) you need to ask the person you can trust to do the best for you.

The direction this country goes is up for grabs now, do you trust yourself because that is what you are being asked to vote on, whether its you who picks the people to make the laws and decisions in the future or not, forget all the other shite because its just that, shite.
You will have no vote to remove some faceless bureaucrat if they take a direction you dont like.

Thanks for you reply....I do understand that mate....we all making a vote on risk/reward for the country...I'm not a risk taker but If I "believed" in the reward I would take the risk....I just dont believe the every day person on the street will see any rewards......for me....I just balance all the pros and cons to leaving.....There is pros I would agree but when you balance that with the cons....I just dont believe its right for the country (in my view!)

Farage is a racist idiot who doesn't have to lie because he is in his element by creating hostility towards immigrants.

Almost single-handedly among politicians, he's facilitated a proper discussion on immigration. And guess what, it's a massive issue among ordinary folk. This has frightened the political establishment shitless.

People can now debate a key, legitimate concern of our times, mostly without bigots shouting them down as "racist" and "xenophobic".

Even so, there's still a few tossers who haven't yet got the message....

I'm not getting into your name calling game. Lots of Bluemooners are enjoying this thread!
Point me out where I've said anything along the lines of me "profiteering from the referendum".

I've said the exact opposite, that I was voting in as I don't want my clients pensions and investments affected by short term volatility.

So either apologise for lying or quote where I admitted profiteering.

It is all about comparative advantage, we will still import.

Is the correct answer.
