I can't really get my head around Joe's England form. Recently he's been poor yet in the Champions League, which is probably a higher standard, he's been world class. It's a strange one.

I love him as well, but, you have to call it as it is- without any blue goggles on. That was a bad mistake - & why have a bloody wall anyway? 35 yards out - give yourself an unobstructed view & there's no way a goalie as good as him should ever be beaten from a free kick like that.

Joe is the joint highest golden glove award winner and no-one is telling me that's undeserved.

Yes, he has a weakness low on his left side but then again Silva's a bit shit on his right foot and Messi's rubbish when challenging a 6'3" defender for a header.

Yeah he made a mistake and it always shows up with a keeper. Hero Sturridge blasted the ball at defenders at least 4 times when a lay off for a better shot was the better option. That golden boy cart horse Kane was nowhere to be seen spearheading the attack if lallana and Sterling were supposed to be feeding him either and rashford did fuck all when he came on, yet some get abuse and some always get praise.

(Not including lallana and Sterling in the getting praise bit btw and I know some bastard's going to post a video of messi out jumping a giraffe:-) )

I notice Neuer all the time and he is the best in the world right now. I think people vision too much of what should be a typical Pep goalkeeper. You can obviously name 2 or 3 goallies that are better all round and available? I'm struggling.

To be fair, the thread is about Hart...and it's well documented now about his faults which we would like to pick up on. It's also been well documented, and deserved, his shot stopping attributes too. The argument here is moving on, Pep#s team and playing style in essence may not suit Hart as our number 1. To say he has saved our club on numerous occasions is like recycling defenders who used to do crunching leg breaking challenges showing commitment. Football moves on and so does the goalkeeper, it's now not just about making saves.
