Thank fuck. The opinion of one solitary German has completely settled my nerves. Then again, if he thinks revenge won't be in the air, he has another think coming. Johnny Foreigner will be extremelyt angry with us. There will be widespread cutting off noses to spite faces.

Is he an expert, BTW, this German person? After all, it is our policy to ignore experts. Only the other day, I told a mechanic to fuck off for suggesting my brakes were about to fail. Fuck off with your expertise, I said. I haven't a clue what a brake looks like but you are scare-mongering about it, so fuck off. Fuck off, fuck off, fuck off ... Lalala I can't hear you. I am taking back control of my car and so what if that proves to be suicidal. I will take my chances. Expert mechanics are well known to be rubbish. Michael Gove told me thIs.

Have you ever been to a doctor for a second opinion?

you've never dealt with Germans, have you?

Cameron thought he could pressure the EU into major concessions-they called his bluff. Cameron now wants a Remain majority so he can say "look I achieved this". The EU will not change ,it will continue to control and grow.
Our forefathers fought to protect us from European tyranny. All we have to do is vote Leave to liberate Europe .

No. We don't know what will happen if we leave. So why are we taking the risk?
We don't know what will happen if we stay either.

The Euro could collapse or there could be a debt crisis in Portugal or a further one in Greece. There could be serious public disturbances in some countries.

There could be far right or far left governments elected that challenge the EU and its rules. We could be pushed into monetary & political union and have to leave anyway if we reject that.

Pretending everyone will live happily ever after if there's a 50.1% vote in favour of Remain is naive in the extreme. There's no guarantee that we can manage those risks if we stay in better than we manage any from leaving.

My great-grandparents were a young couple with a baby and took the risk of leaving what's now Ukraine in 1901. Life wasn't perfect there but it was what their families knew and it seemed a safer option to most of them to stay put and hope things got better. But they took the risk and endured a terrible journey to a country that didn't exactly welcome them warmly and where they didn't speak the language. There must have been times they longed to be back in their town in Ukraine, with their families but they stuck it out. And because they took that risk, they were still alive in 1945 as opposed to the 200 or so of their immediate relatives who were shot and gassed by the Nazis.

For those who are scared of uncertainty perhaps they should grow a pair. Great Britain once controlled 2/3rds of the Globe .Our ancestors wouldn't have even left our shores if they were as weak kneed as many are today.

The only thing certain if we stay in it will cost .we will have to pay to all the future bailouts for ailing economy's . Vote OUT

Quitting on Europe is the easy option. We are a nation of fighters!

As soon as we vote in .....Greece, Spain and others will be asking Germany, France and UK for billions in handouts ......

But what really fucking annoys me more than anything is Cameron and Osborne have hit the poor in the UK with cuts since coming to power ...cuts in public spending, disability payments slashed, people dying because they have had sickness benefits cut, yet they want us to agree to give billions to Europe ....what about putting British people first for once .......all they are doing is taking from the British poor to give to Europe ....sickens me.

Will BM reach 500 on out? Will IN catch up with Out? Will Pam manage to get a post in without swearing ? Find out next week on soap...

This thread was one of the better ones for years in terms of debate before you joined in.

You managed to make me be ashamed of voting In.

Disagree Tim. Yes we are fighters but not for an EU that seems pretty much like the former USSR. We are really only loosely attached to the EU with our opt outs. We never really bought in to the project of political and monetary union. We are emotionally already out and just need a quick shove to be free.

Haha! I'm on the train to Morpeth for work now so that I have time to cast my vote tomorrow. I had to check where it was. My mum is fuming that I'm voting in!
