I have voted

Against
Bigotry, racism, xenophobia, narrow mindedness, backward looking, hatred, ignorance and lies
And for
Securing my kids future, peace, compassion, fraternity, business, honesty and hope

I voted remain.
For one moment there I thought you'd asked Ric to delete your account.

Just voted out.

Scotland is an interesting one, however, as some posts have suggested they will cede a four million voting block to remain?

Not so sure, based on the referendum up there, at least half of that number wanted to remain part of Great Britain for a reason.

If the UKIP numbers of 4m from General Election are correct, coupled with a supposed 20 per cent of the electorate in Wales/N.I, then it might be closer to a 7/8m headstart?

My mum and dad have voted Labour all their lives and have voted out.

It would seem the Labour heartlands hold the key.
Postal votes are also rumoured (emphasis on rumoured) to have a 'significant advantage towards leave'.

So the persons name representing Britain in Brussels if Britain remains is ?

I just need to know who I vote against if I do not like the laws they enforce ....

Short term (alleged) pain for long term gain - voting Brexit and showing confidence in ourselves as a nation to stand on our own two feet. The lack of self belief and short termism verging on cowardice has been astonishing.
A once in a lifetime opportunity to back Britain against those who seek to hold us back will probably be missed, giving "carte blanche" for unelected faceless beareuacrats to feel vindicated.
Same old same old.
I maybe would have voted remain if Cameron had actually negotiated properly and got meaningful legal concessions and promises, instead of some ridiculous "Time Teamesque" flit around European Capitals for the cameras.
The whole thing needs disamntling and starting from scratch - which would be possible with a protest Brexit victory as others would inevitably follow - but I fear that fear itself will mean we will tow the line.

I voted against and for all the same things too,

I voted leave.

OMFG, rumours of postal vote leave surge. Do people actually think they start counting postal votes before the polls close?

Word of mouth from people who've already stated they've voted by postal vote and the ones who have, the majority have said they voted 'leave'. Is it reliable? No, hence 'rumoured'.

It's not that hard to understand.

Yes but I also remember it used to be around 1.78 or somert as well,we will probably end up staying in anyway, but I thought I'd ask, being as I'm off to Spain in 3 week ,and every cent counts towards my beer token allowances

You know I thought your post was absolute bollocks until I checked the historical rate
The initial rate in 2000 was about €1.70. It then steadily fell to €1.40 ish from 2004- 2008
It then took a huge dip and in 2009 was 1 for 1 ish before a steady recovery where it's been around €1.20 since 2010, up until the end of last year where it was back at €1.40
Today it's about €1.30
