If you were ever an employer (let's face it, it's unlikely), would you class it as being discriminatory towards the thick people if you chose the best candidate?

British people are part of that process, as at least 3 million of them currently live permanantly outside the UK and I am assuming they would be treated differently than the rest of the worlds population as and when they move back. As would the 65 million brits who could move abroad and then decide to move back. Thats discrimination. It may well be fair to discriminate on that basis but its still discrimination.

As for the rest of the worlds population, you would have to have some selection criteria (unless you want to draw lots) and that selection would be a form of discrimination. Again it may well be fair to discriminate on whatever criteria is used, but its still discrimination.
 
Had about 3 phone calls from the remain camp this afternoon trying to persuade me to vote for them. Seems a bit strange. You'd have thought if they wanted to make a difference they may have called before I had already voted.

No you silly sod it's a case of supply and demand and its pretty basic logic, if sports direct have people desperate enough to work for less than minimum wage,have to piss in a bottle and be generally treated like shit they will continue to do this. If however they are struggling to find employees what do they do? They can't recruit from abroad so they have to make the job more palatable, better wages better enviroment. not rocket science

I doubt you have, as its illegal to campaign on the day of an election.

so if you have you need to report them to the police.

Just wondered how one could feel disenfranchised in the UK, but think one was represented to better effect in Europe. Or to put it another way. If the UK government fucked up the NHS and the NHS was so important to the electorate, they would get voted out in the next election. If the EU decided to fuck up the NHS, you would be asking whose MEPs to support it? Greeks? Germans? French? None of them would give a toss.

The Jocks voted to stay in the union due to the fear of going it alone, and I think the country will do the same with this vote - scared of change. It might discriminate on ability to do a job but all jobs do that anyway. It would treat all potential immigrants the same though, regardless of nationality. They'd all have to meet the same criteria whether from France or Indonesia.

GDP Is irrelevant in so many ways, look at GDP per capita,then look how our GDP is distributed between rich and poor and then look at how expensive it is to live in this country. Increased GDP with increased population isn't a utopia. We need away from Europe and a decent government that is forward thinking, today we can get rid of one but we won't take it because the uncertainty is too much for some.
