Predictions on the referendum

It's fear of the unknown that's stopping people voting leave so I suppose the scaremongering has worked.
I just wish there was a third way because each side has pro's and con's.

My hope is that the silent majority turn out in their hordes and kick the narrow minded, bigoted little englanders into the far distance (not saying all leavers are such, but some are) my head says it is too close to call.

What did your form teacher say?

I really wanted to learn something but both sides have just gone down the negative route,i do know the immigration arguement is a bit hollow as most come from outside the EU and we already have a points system.I voted to stay in the end

Surely you could say that about any decision though, considering there always be an element of the unknown? It could well be a lot of the silent majority know and accept the flaws of the EU because they also know the benefits that being in the single market brings and so are making a rational decision.

It does feel a bit to me like the EU is being used as a punchbag for what are more issues people should have with our own government.

Don't be fooled by early results, most leave voters have just finished a 14 hour shift.
Is that the whiff of burning martyr?

It's just a pleasing number. There's only one "result". Anything else is pure guess work, even at this stage.

I'm not actually that bothered one way or another now. I just want it over with. I can see both sides have risks and benefits and whatever happens I think/hope the political landscape in this country will change. Which might well be for the better.

I did toy with the idea of just writing "Fuck knows?" at the bottom but I voted remain as I just didn't see a huge point in leaving, other than to stick two fingers up to the establishment. But if I'm going to do that I really don't want to do it whilst giving tacit support to the likes of farage, Boris, Gove et al. No one from that side, even on here, has convinced me.

But if we do vote to leave then fine. Que sera, sera. It might well work out. Let's hope so eh?

It is quite exciting though. Going to be interesting to see the turnout and how the vote is split by region.

Just like the Election bluemoon seems like a good indicator of voting intentions

Despite all the loud ptotestations about this forum being full of rwnj it would seem it is very representative of the nation
Well chuffed we seem to have voted out

Voters North of the Border managed to stink the place out, so it seems.
Albania, Kosovo, Ukraine, and Scotland - I can see them getting on well together.
