Pep's First Interview

Agreed. I was at school during that time and supporting City wasn't easy. The lot over the road were winning everything in sight and City were bouncing between the divisions, hiring and firing managers for fun. Liam and Noel bigged up City at any chance they got. At a time when it wasn't "cool" to support City they gave it a bit more credibility.

I understand some people not liking their music, or them as individuals, but I don't get people knocking Liam and Noel's support for City.

Put it this way, if you were offered the opportunity to meet or interview Guardiola would you turn it down? Looking forward to seeing it!

You said you'd rather a City fan do it because he'll ask questions the fans want to know the answers to. A United fan would surely achieve the same in a respective interview?

Mick Hucknall then, what a thrilling watch that would be. Does he meet your recognition standard?
Your post is utterly ridiculous.

Watch Guardiola's unveiling live on www.mancity.com this Sunday from 2.30pm and hear his first words as Manchester City boss.

yes , so maynot not a significant interview as you said....saying that Noel would be more entertaining than the other interviewer
He'll be introduced to the great unwashed, and there'll be a few inane pleasantries exchanged, no doubt. Stuff about looking forward to life in the utopia that is East Manchester, locking horns with Maureen etc etc. I doubt it'll be up for any journalistic awards!

I like Noel. I like Pep. I'll be watching it and I couldn't give a toss whether anyone else does. It's not the huge top secret PR reveal that I was hoping for but as I wanted Messi to be announced live by Pep in his first interview I was probably always going to be disappointed.

Its so predictable though.

Things are so tough for us City fans these days. We all aspire to a return to division 3. Frank the genius at the helm, Maine Road a fortress, superstar players Vaughan, Beasley, Van Blerk, no need for a bridge to the training ground - we had our own mini bus, and forget Noel bloody Gallagher we had Vince Miller! Oh they were the days.

You know it's getting bad when a prospective interview with a new manager gets slated before it's even been aired.

I think it's standard procedure to moan about everything, and I mean absolutely everything that relates to City or is that Man City or something.

If people didn't moan, those who moan about them couldn't moan sure.

Everything I see with Noel Gallagher when he talks about City I enjoy. Might not be the most professional idea but will be a lot more interesting than most football interviews.

Looking forward to it

As long as the ex Manc tw@ doesn't ask about Manchester weather, where he's living or where his family are going to be living, anything about the 'Rivalry' or what Pep's got in his fooking fridge, like other sh*tty presenters, he'll be reet by me.

He'd better ask whether it's a barm or a muffin though ;-)
