Morano and jesus are obviously players for the future and cannot wait to see how they develop.

Not arsed about bonucci now if he doesn't want to come. So stones at the back . Sane seems like it will happen but aubameyangs recent comments have give me cause to have hope. Would have liked kroos especially if it gave Madrid the cash they need to land pogba.

Now we just need to sell a few players to make room
 
Does anyone know if Jesus, Moreno, or Sane could qualify has home grown? Was there something about acquiring them as teenagers?

The whole medical department was subject to an internal investigation close season. I may be wrong but I think two or possibly three got the sack. The team doctor and physio were under the most scrutiny apparently.

Realistically we're going into the new season having added Nolito. Not one person in May would have been praying we signed Nolito.

Gundogan won't be fit for the start and then he'll be eased in. So we're starting with the same sluggish midfield as last year.

I'm sorry but even if the other two additions for this season in stones and sane sign then we haven't addressed any of the glaring weaknesses from last year.

I don't think anyone would have expected Zabaleta, Kolarov, Mangala, Toure, Fernando and Bony ALL to still be here.

It's an underwhelming window. Hope Pep is as good as we all expect him to be.

DeBruyne, Silva, Nasri, Nolito, Sane, Zinchenko, Kelechi, Moreno, Sterling, Jesus (in Jan), plus Celina, Barker & other kids as wide attackers in a mid 4 or in a front 3.

Aguero, Bony, Kelechi, Sane, Jesus (in Jan), Sterling, plus Ambrose maybe Boadu if he gets fit, a Striking options.

A shedload of players young & old who could play as a 'false 9'.

A bunch who could play wingback or in a back 3.

All of that is without mentioning Navas, in case he is one who goes.

We could lose a player or two from almost any area there, to make way in the squad, & still have loads of cover (thanks to the fact that Pep has flexibility with players' positions & has brought some kids into the reconing, both things which could have made us much better last season).

I don't think we'd worry if we had that squad. It would just be a matter of who we loan or sell.

It's mostly been some minor hype and a major letdown by laporte. Some of us bit on that world record bid possibility and that was about it other than aubameyang. I suppose another letdown for some was Kroos which I didn't even think about happening.

I'm not anticipating anything else, especially big. Anyone getting their hopes up for anything?

Perhaps we are securing the best young players out there, accepting they may take a year or two to bed in, but we are securing them first. They are perhaps not exciting because we all would love a messiah to come. However Once job is done I expect pep will be handed 'one out of the blue' if he wants it.
With a change in management, motivated players and a much better injury record I expect us to challenge domestically. Europe not quite yet but let's see

I wish we could fook kim off to China.

Starting to look like yet another season. I wonder when his good spell will come, where we all think he's turned the corner, then he turns round the other corner.

Someone else will probably have to go, to make way for the new signings, because we can't shift him.
