TV Series

I've recently just watch them all back, it's really is an exceptional show, the character development has been brilliant!!
Just one episode and seeing characters in their early stages makes me want to watch the whole thing again. Varys has come a long way from dungeons with Ned to danys boats.

Cleverman promising and different.

In the very near future, creatures from ancient mythology must live among humans and battle for survival in a world that wants to silence, exploit and destroy them.

Feed the beast surprised I'm really enjoying it.

"Feed the Beast," says creator Clyde Phillips ("Dexter," "Suddenly Susan"), is a fusion of his formative years, all brought together in a deliciously satisfying, provocative and surprising world. It's about best friends Tommy Moran and Dion Patras taking one last shot to fulfill their dream of opening an upscale restaurant in their Bronx hometown. For single dad Tommy -- a functioning alcoholic and former sommelier -- the restaurant is a way to give his son, TJ, the life he himself never had. Talented chef Dion, meanwhile, hopes the venture allows him to secretly satisfy his debt to the mob. Together, they dive into the New York restaurant world, navigating its underbelly of petty criminals, corrupt officials and violent gangster

The original series, bankerot, is Danish and what feed the beast is based on... Have to say, it isn't in the same league!!

Stranger Things on netflix a bit stand by me, spielberg and a sprinkling of original silent hill thing about it and some top music in the soundtrack

Watched the first three episodes of this last night and it is excellent. 80s nostalgia in overdrive, and yes the soundtrack is ace! It's like an ET/Goonies/Super 8/Stand By Me/anything Stephen King hybrid!

Onto episode 8 and think it's a really good series, well made with as you say the right blend of 80's sci-fi style

If anyone likes their sports documentaries, I just finished All Or Nothing, which is an NFL doc abut a season with the Arizona Cardinals. Really good.

Just started watching the one about East Mississippi Community College. Not bad. Last Chance U?

Just started watching the first episode of fortitude, very fucking weird so far.

is that the one set very north of canada? If so I watched the first episode and remember it was pretty good but I was knackered and kept falling asleep and ive forgotten about it till now!

Was there no second series? I know it was pretty hyped up.

It's Norway I think, but definitely somewhere cold. It really grabs you from the off and hoping it's going to be superb. There will be a series 2, not sure when it starts though.

Am I overthinking 'Mr Robot', anyone?

I'm thinking Elliot has more than 'Mr Robot' as an alter ego. Is he 'Tyrell' and 'Whiterose' as well?

I can't tell!!

Maybe not 'Whiterose' as I can't see him speaking Mandarin...

I'm almost certain he killed Tyrell at the end of last season, whilst in the guise of his Dad and once that happened he took on Tyrell as a persona as well.

I'm not sure on Whiterose.

It's set in Norway. I really enjoyed it, and I'm sure S2 was being filmed - if not it's weird because the end of S1 certainly set it up for another.

... What if "killing" 'Tyrell' meant the same as when 'Mr Robot' shot Elliott in the head?? Elliott being the stronger character survives this action as he's learning to control the powerful ego that is 'Mr Robot' with the aid of his shrink?

Wouldn't that mean he can resurrect 'Tyrell' at any time or 'Tyrell' finding his way back with the weakening of 'Mr Robot'...?

Just thinking as of the phone delivered to his wife after going 'missing' longer than usual.

The Night Of

Wish I had bothered to check if it was all filmed, completely hooked and waiting for more episodes...HBO

I have just finished the second season of 'Better Call Saul', and I am now watching another Netflix original, "Bojack Horseman".
