A GK , full back and CM?
Bonucci is still a possibility, despite the public utterances.
As is a striker, if we can shift Bony.
All dependent on moving on Bony, Mangala, Kolarov, Caballero, Navas and Nasri.

We'll go again in January, if needs be.
No other club in the marketplace will be able to afford themselves of such a level, either.
A very significant factor for Pep, who has perhaps seen a few things he didn't expect - both good and bad.
I expect another three after Sane, Stones and Gabriel.

I think we may end up subsidising a few of the outgoings to get them shifted.Interesting, cheers.
He might shift a couple but I can't see them all being moved on in this window. Good going if they can pull it off.

When you mentioned Pep has seen things he didn't expect, good and bad... might the bad have something to do with Nasri and him turning up over weight for pre season? I can't imagine that has gone down well at all.
I can't imagine Caballero's distribution went down that well either.
Interesting, cheers.

So yaya stays ? Suprised about Nasri thought pep would have liked his style must be his off field that has let him down . Thought he was well liked by the top guys upstairs too . To compete for both league n champions league I feel we need to get rid of said players n add bonucci Kroos n suarez n we can win both but that is a dream I feelBonucci is still a possibility, despite the public utterances.

How are we looking in terms of outgoing players then? We currently have 18 non-homegrown players over the age of 21 by my count. We can register at most 17 for the PL and CL and the CL has additional restrictions meaning U21 players who haven't been here for at least 2 years (as Sane would be) also need to be registered among that 17.
Another 3 incoming would mean we need to be moving on at least 4 of our non-homegrown players to avoid leaving players out of the PL squad.
Maybe it's misplaced, but to me that seems extremely unlikely given the age and high wages of many of the players we'd be looking to sell. Especially with China's transfer window having closed.
Perhaps we are "spoilt"? I suspect very few rival fans would consider any of "Sane, Stones or Jesus" as "marquee signings". As City fans we have certainly been spoilt since our owners took over. We are restricted by FFP and have found it difficult to offload fringe players. There is if you'll feel gutted when we don't sign any of Bonucci, Kroos and Suarez.
Bit spoilt to not consider Sane, Stones and Jesus as marquee signings IMO - any squad in the world would fancy adding them to their ranks.
It really just depends on how big a hit the club is willing to take on the players. How important is getting good fees vs. Pep getting the squad he wants?
