I hope it is just a loan. I understand the business argument about the loan + obligation to buy + buy back clause, but if we're only paying 7m for him we can surely get some of that back no matter what, even if he doesn't perform.

It can be depending how things evolve. As with any other transfer tbf. The ones who say it's a stupid way to agree are the ones that don't like it because they just want have a new player on their plate straight away.

If tonight was anything to go by then we should stay well away. The second Portuguese goal was an absolute howler.
 
Have we actually signed him yet? All young keepers make mistakes so not too arsed about that oops moment. But not seen any confirmation of the deal.
 
Show me the goalkeeper who hasn't had a howler and I'll show you a keeper who hasn't had a career in front of the cameras. It's the nature of the beast.

That said, he has a season or two to show he can compete with Hart and Gunn, if he is to become a Man City player.
