Women's rugby 7s............mmmmmmmmm.....a bit shite!

Oh, everyone is flat chested. Is this a requirement in women's rugby?

Handball has been the best so far. The Dutch team were most impressive.

USA women beat Argentina in hockey 2-1. The national team trains in my hometown and two of the girls are from here. I'm pretty sure one of them is the first person from my school to compete in the Olympics.

Poor bugger. Years of training and it ends like that. That is horrific.

The coach at my high school churns out a ton of great players, he was even named the top coach in the country one time. He taught us boys the game in gym class so I've actually played a few times. It's a good game and very fast paced, I'd check it out the next time our girls play.

Played it once - ended up in net and got twatted by the ball on the thigh realy hard right in the midle of winter. Lobbed the ball from my stick over princess parkway and never played since.

Watching New Zealand vs Colombia in the women's football, dollop game, City's women would beat both.

The women's weightlifting is an weirdly interesting watch though.

I just don't think there's the appetite for a range of sports in Brazil. Something that should be taken into consideration when choosing the hosts.

2 British swimmers finished outside the medals in 2 finals tonight. Both swam good times but I think its fair to say we probably won't be getting a medal haul like London. I'll reserve my judgement slightly as we should get a bunch of cycling and athletics medals, possibly rowing too.
