The system we deploy means mistakes will be made, and he'll likely make some, too, but we need to be patient and ignore the inevitable media hyperbole when he does.
 
Class signing and a classy centre back. He's young and will probably make mistakes but we have to get right behind him. He could become something truly special with Guardiola nurturing him. I think he'll go on to become world class.
 
Watching his CityTV interview, and i'm really surprised at his reaction. He looks absolutely beaming. Signings don't tend to look too emotive but John's visibly struggling to keep it in.

Loved the "meanwhile in the City dressing room" video on City's twitter, nicely done.

Stones has had a lot of pre season game time for Everton so match fitness shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully he can hit the ground running, Pep wanted him and that speaks volumes!
 
Great signing & home grown. Just the type of defender Pep wants. I expect he will go straight into the match this weekend.
