So let's say these three young attackers (Sane, Jesus, Moreno) get wrapped up and Stones comes as well. Even if Kroos isn't attainable, have we been linked to any other CMs?? Would think we'd need one more and if we got one to go with the others I've listed I think it would be a fantastic summer.
 
Listening to "The Football Show" on Sirius XM on the way to work and Charlie Stillitano just said that he was informed that City was very close to triggering Messi's release clause this summer. Certainly that had to be the "Boooom" the op was talking about.

While Messi is clearly the world's best right now, that would have been a ton of money!

Not sure, though he seems to be pretty connected in the soccer world. He said he had just returned from Madrid but that his source was not someone with Real Madrid.

He does have a good track record although he has to my knowledge never spoken about transfers until after the opportunity is in the past or the transfer is underway in public. That might seem like he's coming in ex post facto, but he often has his contacts on his radio show as guests and just doesn't name them as sources in an out and out fashion.

We certainly tried 3 years ago but this summer I was told by one good and usually reliable source that we were after Suarez. Then another source who I know was absolutely kosher told me that it was Neymar's release clause we were going to trigger.

Would have been funny if we'd ended up with all 3. Now that certainly would have been a BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!! moment.
 
Not for a moment do I think we'll get Messi with 2 weeks left to go (or probably for that matter) but have noticed in those 2 cup games he seemed off the boil somewhat. Don't get me wrong still played some wonderful stuff, even scored but, I don't know he just seemed a bit bored...like Groundhog Day Football. Maybe just me. Doubt it's got anything to do with us (hang over from International duty?) but maybe something on his mind? ha ha
 
I have been told we are trying to make a big signing ( the lad who told me makes odds for a large bookmaker in relation football matches and transfers ) before the window close and am guessing its one of Neymar or Saurez .

Weather we get either is a totally different story

Hmmm speaking to a pal last night who isn't a blue.....said he tried to put a bet on Messi to City in next 18months & the 3 bookies he tried wouldn't take the bet!!
