Anyone seen this? It's hilarious. I bet Barry, Lescott, Johnson and Milner felt cursed when they were winning those trophies.

Patrick Roberts is classed as a "miss", and even Richard Wright is given a mark.

Shit rag in shit story shocker.

The daily mail has got to be the worse publication out there, which considering the likes of the sun and the star are knocking about is quite the feat.

I guess they have not mentioned that the careers of these players have got alot worse after the left us.
but its the mail, fighting for the budgie with the BBC to see who can get the furthest up Utds arse

I read the 'hit' and 'miss' but, it was a joke - The only reason I go on their website is that it is a great format. Really good set-up but shit content

Fuck me what a wank article. Some of those inclusions are hilarious. Wright and Taylor back up goalkeepers are apparently a "miss", Henshall a youth player who didn't make the grade is apparently a "miss". Rodwell who was plagued with injuries, Delph who was also injured for most of last season. Then they even add Roberts who had a very successful loan last season and is doing well this season as well.

I don't see the point in it to be honest. Bridge was nearly in his 30's and never good enough, Hargreaves was injured all the time and didn't cost anything, Barry did a great job, Milner did well and with Lescott they won 2 Premier leagues etc etc.. Even Sterling and Delph are regarded as a miss but they have now won a trophy and been to a Champions League semi final in their first seasons here.... One of them would of been playing in the championship if they hadn't of come!!

Barely a curse is it!

Rags PR team are in full war mode. Deffo balls out season for them.

Absolute desperation to bill us as the club where English talent dies. Barry? Lescott? Milner? Johnson? All big/decent parts of title/cup winning seasons. Roberts? Sterling? Both still kids with barely a season's experience at the club? Delph's not even been here 12 months yet! Rodwell was a permacrock, as was Hargreaves but he cost us nothing.

Barry - 175 appearances all comps in 4 seasons - 34 league appearances in our 2011/12 league title. - Also played in every FA Cup round in 2010/11 (When we won it). 27 of his 53 England apps with City.
Milner - 203 appearances all comps in 5 seasons - 26 league apps in 11/12, 31 league apps in 13/14
Lescott - 160 appearances all comps in 5 seasons - 31 league apps in 11/12, played in every FA Cup round in 10/11. Also played enough games for a medal in 13/14 despite being past his best at that point.
Johnson - 97 appearances all comps in 3 seasons - 26 league apps in 11/12, played 4 games in our FA Cup run 10/11.
Sterling - 47 appearances all comps in his first major cup winning season and more than doubled his champions league appearances on route to reaching a major european semi-final.
Delph = 1st major title of his career in his 1st season.

Even the stats show it as ridiculous.

Funny how they don't mention Joe Hart:

2 x Premier League Titles
1 x FA Cup
2 x League Cups
4 x Golden Gloves
2 x Premier League team of the year (1 out on loan).
All 63 England apps whilst at city.
