We don't know anything for sure yet,we'll no doubt find out more after the game is he doesn't start,i'm not immune to his faults i just want him to be given a fair chance to see if he can do it,45 mins pre-season with aleks and nando in front of him doesn't seem enough for me

Bang on the money, but apparently that was in an era when a goalkeeper's main responsibility was keeping the ball out of the net. I find it strange that the majority of match going Blues that I speak to want Joe in nets, but I would say that the majority of the posters in here don't want him in nets. Each to their own I suppose. In either event I don't personally think that Willy is the answer, but hope he does well if he plays

Can you find where PLatt denied it ? I thought he confirmed it. Joe's a gonna imo. Thought he might make a fist of it this season but looks like things are moving pretty
quickly. There's no sentiment at the top clubs and there shouldnt be. We have to back Guardiola after taking all this time to get him.

Yeah I think Platt confirmed it. If Mancini had stayed the summer we had Begovic. Infact I think Begovic also confirmed the same.

Regardless who was in front of him has nothing to do with him kicking it long, Angus Gunn didn't do it or Willy.

He denied it live on air when he was a pundit in the middle east and again in press,i wouldn't know where to find it 3 yrs on,regardless joe has served us very well and i am disappointed so many blues have just written him off already

what? I heard it live when Platt said that Mancini wanted to replace Hart with Begovic, said it on Bein Sports.

We must move in different circles because a lot of match going fans I talk to recognise the problems Joe has and are open to him being moved on if he can't prove to Pep he can do what is asked of him. On the flip side there are many others who want him to stay.
Your last line I can definitely agree with.

All about opinions Karen. Let's wait and see what happens as we all want whats best for the club. Enjoy the game, I'm sure there will be aftermatch discussions about
Willys performance today if he does indeed start.
 
Hart needs to go if ter stegen joins no way will he be happy on the bench I rate hart he is excellent in one on one situations and has kept us in games countless times in the last couple of seasons. Ter stegen could be first choice for ten years if he joins but the price being quoted is crazy, think 20 odd mil wpuld be a more realistic fee for him and hart. Where will it leave us in home grow player quotas?
