You missed the first match mate. Willy did well and Pep was pleased. The goal was not his fault.
And we will not 'probably lose at Stoke'. I think City have a chance to get a point at least.

IMHO Joe has been a good keeper, with potential to improve, eg low down to his left. However, if we strive to be among the best club teams in the world, which I believe is the point of getting Pep, then we have to trust his judgement. Very few know what has really gone on, but Pep is after players who give 100% and are totally committed to his style of play. Some suggest Joe's distribution needs improving, so perhaps extra training to show a higher level of dedication, and being seen to follow instruction, would have helped demonstrate he was giving it his best shot. Bit disappointed to read earlier rumours Joe was potentially instrumental in helping to oust Mancini, and had a strop to play in the Wigan final. Player power will now be weeded out and Pep will look to build a team greater than the sum of its parts.

1. It's well known Pep Guardiola wants a new goalkeeper with better distribution.

2. Pep has excluded Joe Hart from the lineup in favour of Willy so far and looks set to continue to do so.

3. Joe is according to many reports, among them from Ian Cheeseman, not taking this particular exclusion very well.

4. Joe's attitude is a massive turnoff for Pep, regardless of his abilities, and could see him ultimately sold off.

5. City have been linked to multiple goalkeepers and have already lined up Geronimo Rulli for the future, but seem set to acquire Claudio Bravo for the here and now.

The reaction in this thread is baffling, on both accounts. On one hand we have a group seemingly waiting for any opportunity to have a go at Joe for being a tit to a ballboy ages ago. On the other hand, we have some who come in flapping about how Joe is a legend, bigger than the club and all this shouldn't be happening to him. Both of these things are irrelevant.

Pep Guardiola has every right to pick his team and City will back him to the hilt. If Joe Hart doesn't fit into those plans, or worse he's actively damaging Pep's plans, then he's out. No talk of legends, no bandwagoning about ballboys. It all doesn't matter if Pep doesn't want to play Joe and, guess what? He doesn't.

Let him go Hart lost it a long time ago and I got ripped apart on here for stating that he was no longer good enough. What comes to mind is how this thread started he is busy dissing other players like he is the manager. Remember how pissed off Mancini was at that? When he said "he should watch his own performances and let me be the manager." The are other keepers who are "Head and Shoulders" above Hart in quality. He keeps making the same mistakes over and over and over and now has found new ones to make. As we rise you have to forget about all that "legendary" bollocks. he was paid handsomely for his work. Wishing him well where ever he ends up.

I'm split about him leaving, if it's for the best for the club so be it but I think he deserves a good send off.

Joe or Kazzydenya? I won't take sides in this debate as I respect what JH has given to us over the years but there have been rumblings from behind the scenes for
a long time that Joe is a bit of house devil street angel type. If this were true and I'm not suggesting it is, it would damage the perception that most City fans have of Joe as
a calming , unifying and authoritative voice of experience within the dressing room. Perhaps the reality is different than the perception and this allied to Joe's dodgy form and distribution woes
have rendered him surplus to requirements.
