He needs to get playing time in a better league. Dinamo Zagreb are in the CL but that's because they finish first in probably the 15th best league in Europe. I don't want him to go out on loan but if we get him I do want him to get consistent 1st team playing time somewhere. His first year here, if he stays, will probably be split between the main club and the u23s.

Hahaha. Oh brilliant, now we're going to send a full international to the EDS.
 
Celtic? Will get champs league and the league is a slightly higher standard maybe ajax or PSV but team we have a sister team in Holland can't see them being too happy if we strengthen rivals.

Liverpool are not in Europe either mate- just saying.
 
I wonder if we'll sign him and then loan him straight back to Zagreb for the season (or just arrange a deal to sign him next summer)?

reports earlier in the week were saying Zagreb are stalling on the sale and that we might move on to other alternatives. This has been dragging on for a while, maybe we've already moved on?

Gijon is a lovely little City. They have a weird cider type drink and very cheap tapas. A spectacular beach called beach of catherderals not far away, could that swing it for him? Birds are fit too.
