I definitely think he's going to forgo his last two years of college eligibility. He's already been paid $250,000 for the gold (which he can keep) but there are millions more if he signs endorsement deals. On 5live last night they said that if swimming was not in the Olympics, GB and Ireland would have topped the medal table. Not checked it out myself but if true that is incredible. The National Lottery has been a huge boost for British sport and long may it continue.

You can't really say that though. Where would we be without cycling? Definitely agree on the funding, this winning medals lark is far better than watching it years ago when we were crap.
