Football-wise we're on a different planet but, same as when we play Stoke, I always worry about park-the-bus-and hoof-it teams.

When teams rely on physicality, a lot of their success depends on how the referee clamps down on fouling at the outset of the game when they are, literally, putting their stamp on it. The Premier league has no love for the likes of Stoke, West Brom etc so, generally, refs exercise some measure of control, but the rags are a different kettle of fish (which of their players was the last to be retrospectively banned ?). So I do suspect the worst. I think they'll score.

The sneakiest thing refs do is issue a yellow card so that nothing can be done later. The Fellaini elbow on Zabs was a classic example.

They will systematically rotate kicking shit out of our playmakers such as Merlin. I also think that they may target Stones given his importance in launching our plays. We need to be prepared for that and for playing at least 20 minutes with 10 men when the ref decides to balance the teams by sending-off one of ours for something spurious. Plus I hope Bravo is good at penalties as he's bound to have to face one.

So a routine visit to the theatre of cheating scumbag wankers.

If both sides play to their top form we will win. They are not a good footballing side but they have individuals who can turn a game. If it were not a derby I don't believe we would have anything to be concerned about. Let's just hope that the officiating is fair.

I'd tend to agree with that team except i'd have Kolarov at CB and Clichy in at LB. When Kola came on against west ham he had a big hand in shutting down their long balls.

Having Kompany, Sane and Gundogan on the bench is not a bad idea if we need to chase or close down the game.

Of our current squad Stones, Kolarov, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Navas, Silva, Touré, Nolito, Bony and Iheanacho have all been known to take a decent PK so I'm sure we'll have plenty of cover. Think Pep's approach is that the players decide. His two rules are- decide which way tou're going to go and never change your mind, and keep telling yourself you're going to score it until you have.

Not as nervous as usual but I dont think this game matters as much to us as it does to Utd. They have to win, anything less is fail. I dont even think Aguerro missing will matter as much, it is an opportunity to play Nolito or Iheanacho and still get a result. On paper we're better, we are stronger and more on track of the two teams, they have it all to prove we dont.

Play with pace and overload that mid/final third
Bailly and Blind havent faced a team with this much ability without a direct striker to mark. Bet your life we will drag them out and all over the show with our play and pace as theyll get agitated looking for someone to get tight too

Really looking forward to us dominating the ball but there is obvious danger from set pieces with these absolute cloggers they've set their team around
