TV Series

I love the books but Im not sure the bloke playing Bosch has got him quite right. I watched the first 2 episodes of Ray Donovan last night on your reccomendation last night and Im hooked

I havent read the books but i imagine the character should have a greater presence and more of an edge, probably looks different physically too.

Glad youre hooked on RD already, youre in for a treat.

Hardly surprising but there will be a second series of Stranger things

Read that Eleven will return and Hopper will still be in the second series.

I reckon Eleven is Hoppers daughter for some reason. Will is going to quite obviously be evil with the last scenes of him.

Not having that, horrible scene where you see his kid die and also we know Elevens Mum. Something dodge was with Hopper at the end though when he was taken away in the car. Either way I cant wait for it

It never said what she died outright from, it was only implied it was cancer. I certainly think there's more to the connection between his daughter, the parallel world, telepathy and eleven. Can't wait.

That is sarcasm, surely??

No, the ending isnt typical of this type of show, the outcome of the 'who dunnit' isnt the point of the show, which isnt usual especially for an American drama.

there is no big reveal, show down and then take down of the person who committed the crime like you usually get, you dont know for sure what happened just they are off to do the same to someone else that they did to Naz and the loose ends that provide questions arent for a second series according to the writer director, nobody lived happily ever after, life just goes on

I understand the concept mate, it was just very poorly done (imo), the acting is bob on, however, I felt as soon as
the financial guy was introduced, it was amateur hour

The whole idea of ones ''product of their environment' is over extended, it destroys the show as it conflicts with itself in what it is trying to achieve!!

Oh I agree the ending wasnt as good as the rest of the show, it was hurried and a bit fumbled, it had that in common with the original, which also just sped through the ending (and wrapped things up actually a bit more than the night of in the sense of who actually did what). Both shows have fantastic acting in them though, of that there is no doubt.

Due to the fact the ending isnt typical of this type of show, I dont see how people can say it was obvious what was going to happen, Perry Mason it was not.

Especially a moose fucker like Bacon who hardly knows what day it is.

The Mountie PM'd me asking if Tony soprano was the killer....

Not an obvious conclusion, granted, obvious 'whodunnit' though!!

Just started it too, seems good!

It's not too bad, there is a lot of hype surrounding it, but it doesn't draw me in like a Game Of Thrones or Breaking Bad. The soundtrack and music are brilliant though

Reminds me of a cross between ET, The Goonies and a inferior version of X-files

Yep ...I'll watch it about 10am tomorrow along with Ray Donovan and curse that I'll have to wait another week !! :-(

Cheers for the heads up I'm well and truly
