Rooney should have retired after the debacle of the Euro's along with the manager. On fat Sam does anyone believe he was brought in to suddenly turn us into world beaters? He was brought in to make us organised and hard to beat against the better sides, like Jack Charlton did with the Republic. The penny dropped in the FA that our players are overpaid and over hyped and this is the road we have to go down for now.
