I wouldt recommend ever watching a derby in town,
Trying to have an intelligent debate with your average rag is impossible
Let alone watching in a pub

I went down for one there a 1-1 think Barton scored for us, almost a battle outside with the scum armed with pool cues in the boozer across the road.

Try the Bierkeller in the Printworks mate. I'm off to the game but went in there prior to the match last year en route to the ground and they had it split where City were in one room and United in another. Was a decent enough set-up. Ended up in the Tib St Tavern afterwards and it wasn't too bad but not sure what it will be like during the game in there.

Yea I'd choose the printworks if I was watching in town due to the numbers of doorstaff at neighbouring bars and as it's more enclosed you'll find bobbies at the exits... Less likely to go off on a bigger scale than say bars which are located with quick access to the streets and bars that only have one doorman on.

Avoid wearing colours and you shouldn't have problems unless of course you get sessioned and go looking for trouble.

Tib St Tavern wouldn't let us in before West Ham game,clever arse on door said no colours,I said we City fans,he said he didn't care,I said fuck ya's then,your loss,hence to say won't be trying there ever again

Yea,I remember a thread about that,dunno what it is with some of these town pubs really,I mean OK,this Saturday is a bit different I suppose,but there is no mither with West Ham,not that there was that many in town pre game anyway,but like you say mate,fuck um,I'll never go there again now,football or no football
