Two wins and a draw in the last three derbies. They aren't bricking it at all because they believe all the shite the media have been feeding them since Maureen joined.
Hopefully we'll tear them the new one some on here promised before those three games.
They'll play it long and high because they've some big fuckers up there. And they'll play it dirty because they know they'll get away with it.
For the rest of the season they'll hoover up points against the sort of crap they (and we) failed to beat last season so they have to be seen as contenders alongside Euro-free Chelsea.
We have the better players, we have the best coach, and we'll play the best football. But their continual bombardment against parked busses might be more effective than our picking the driver's pocket and driving it away.
Those who watched the long ball bollocks of Wimbledon in the 70s and 80s have seen it all before, but this time it will be hailed as genius rather than wrecking the game.
I'll take a draw today. I think we're better overall and will be in the long term, but Pep is trying to build something quite complicated whereas Maureen is looking for a quick fix and is keeping it simple (hoof and hope) just like their fans.
And then there's the after match disinfectant to look forward to. Post-match comments may smell of Dettol.
