Derby post match thread 10/09/2016

For most of the first half and a lot of the match, City were the football equivalent of a Roller crossed with a Lambo. And that's just 4 games in with several big names to come.

Who wants to play

Pure gold. Great stuff.

Technically should be "Where's Pogba"...no need to tell me to fuck off. I've just told myself.

City outclass Rag at first half. Second half Mourinho play long ball then Pep instruct players to play 5 defenders. After that Mourinho has no answer only praying of luck which never not come.

This feels better than the 6 - 1

Every fucker prior to this gaming banging the drum for PEG and the Rags being back in their rightful place at the top

Well smell the coffee the rags your are in your rightful place, second best in Manchester

Nothing new here, Rags beaten again, move on. XD
Oh, so much penalty appeals....DENIED! They could make a drama movie. XD

Enjoyed the game. Good job lads. :D

CTID!

"Evra was not the expensivest player in the world. I believe we got took to the cleaners again. For example the 3-4 most expensivest players recently, where Ronaldo, Bale, Suarez, Neymar. Every single one are game changers and worth their price tag. We always buy good players, but not world class, and spend twice then what they are actually worth" - from ragcafe, penny is finally dropping lol

So they didn't know beforehand that Pogba was not a game changer?

I think it shouldn't be overlooked that as good as we were in the first half it was ridiculous of Mourinho not to line up from the start as they did second half. Their threat is chaos in the box - our weakness is dealing with exactly that. They should have gone in tough from the off and pumped route 1 relentlessly. That's what I feared and I'm delighted that they went 1/2 the game without playing to their strength. Flippin eejit ... :-)

Starting with the line up from the second half would of had no bearing on how we performed.. They chased shadows as we imposed our will. Don't for one minute believe the hype about this 'United side', it's a polished LVG team - they were given impetus from a silly mistake. Put Kun in that first 40 minutes and I genuinely believe we'd of got close to the 6-1...

Fuck'm, I'm not surprised by the result, just the number we scored!!

Let this sink in:

We just dominated and bested United, at Old Trafford, without Kompany, Gundogan, and Aguero. And the only reason they even had chances were down to things that can easily be addressed in training.

This was only a dream when I was a lad. Quite literally in my dreams.

We can only get better, can't wait for the return at the Ethiad. Stronger team, time for Pep to install the ethos. Turn over Manure again, happy days. Proud, few more beers to celebrate. Time to enjoy winding up the rag in-laws.

Just got finished watching cos of work. Lovely to get back to beating the raggies on derby day and fully deserved.

Only one team in it first half, got to give Bravo bebefit of the doubt, but dodgy here and there, but one hell of a game to get baptised in. Decent response from rags second half but brilliant to see the steel in the defence, Pep has completely revolutionized this team from what it was last season. Love it.

Despite that twat referee ensuring our best striker couldn't play, we still beat the scum on their turd bowl of a ground, in front of their plastic fans! (with 60% possession no less)

HA HA HA HA!
