Europa League Games 15/9/16

Just heard Maureen saying they deserved to have got more out of the Derby in post match conference.
Unbelievable!

Some fucker should remind him they just got beat off Feyenoord and would he mind trying to explain that one away lol

It's not unbelievable. Expecting the eye gouger to be in any way gracious in defeat is what's unbelievable.

We're the ones applying all the pressure and something will eventually crack with the manager. The transition excuse can't even be used because of what Pep has done.

It's beautiful.
Thought I heard scholes say something similar on bt (unless that's what you are referring too) transition and players settling in,what about other teams like ourselves,Chelsea,Southampton,Watford and Everton etc all with new managers and players to settle in..I want Watford to twist the knife on Sunday and see that eye gouging cnut squirm even more, horrible cnut and a horrible club ...

Isn't it funny that the two managers the press here love - Maureen and Klippety - are finding it hard going? I suppose its one way of ensuring you last longer than other manager who aren't "special" ?

I think we may have a contender for Man United's sheer shiteness in Inter Milan. What a terrible match that would be.

Where is the pog? just happy we don't have him as pep doesn't need to baby sit him as well
He'd be a different player under Guardiola. He hasn't become shit overnight, Mourinho just can't work out how to play him.

Oh, can't wait for work tomorrow. Definitely expecting the 'not interested in this competition' nonsense.

We've waited a long bloody time for this but, fuck me, it's a beautiful time to be BLUE! Drink it in and savour every last drop!
This is it. Since that whisky nosed **** left it has been a thing of beauty.

I wouldn't class Klopp as "struggling", at least he's trying to create a style of play for the scousers, if he'd managed to strengthen the defence better they would be a bigger force.

Keane said Guardiola was the special one on ITV last night. Rags must fucking hate him!

This one off the caff made me smile:

truth be told. Its early days in the season and this team is a work in progress. It will take them time to fully implement Mourinho"s defensive and attacking ideas

Why will it take them time when Guardiola needed no time? I've asked this question a couple of times already and I just want an answer that makes sense; from anyone.
I fully support Mourinho and wanted him here. I think he'll win trophies with us.
But what are the reasons he needs time to "settle" and the players need time to get used to him and his ways, when Guardiola and City didn't need that?
Is it because Guardiola is better than Mourinho? Is it simply because someone like Fernandinho is so much better than Fellaini, or De Bruyne is so much better than Rooney, for example? Can two of their players being so much better than ours in the same positions really mean that the whole team plays so much better, with a plan, with a purpose?
It's not simply form, is it? City aren't just playing good football, they're playing good Guardiola football and it's only mid-September.
So why has he been able to drill it into them without any time needed, while Mourinho needs time?
I genuinely don't mean this as anything against Mourinho, I just don't believe in the whole "things happen" bullshit, there's a reason for everything and when you're trying to be the best, excuses shouldn't be part of the plan.

Sheldon not took it too well

He said it before the game as well straw clutching.
He is absolutely obsessed with Guardiola. Maybe he can't understand how his teams can play such open attractive football and still win trophies. Probably hates it that Guardiola will go down in footballing history as creating a style of football that brought us probably the best club football team of the modern era. All that whilst remaining humble, whilst acting like a gentleman, whilst not bad mouthing anyone and everyone.
