Reading the thread we will have to update kodi anyways as we are still a 15.1 version, we will do that first and clear the other build from the machine.

We have a MXQ pro 4k android box if that makes a difference to anything.

Just scroll to the spmc app on local apps section and click the up arrow and it should install :)

Go on the play store and install "apps 2 fire"and "spmc"

Awesome, can you follow the YouTube tutorial to install the bluemoon build I posted on the first page mate? You can skip the first bit about fresh starting as you are on a clean setup and it can cause issues on android

There are also written instructions on the first page posted by Danamy :)

Laughably we can not work the play store off the fucking box :(, there is no search box to type spmc into and SPMC does not feature under video players/editors like it did on the phone, we have been back and forward.

It does say it is designed for phones, is there another spmc we should use and not the one I put on phone ?

It was another problem. more to do with not knowing there was a cursor button the remote lol, once we found that we could see the search function, very slow at times :)
