Spuds take our record one week, we take a record back the next week, simples. Don't fuck with Pep.
BBC saying a win will equal Spurs record.....wasn't their's league games only?
Wonder if the Spurs forums are kicking off like we were when they broke an attendance record with newly made up parameters?
Well you should get a banBBC saying a win will equal Spurs record.....wasn't their's league games only?

In my defence the op I made was about the bbc making possible records up not about me expecting us to coast to another win.

Too late now you ****!In my defence the op I made was about the bbc making possible records up not about me expecting us to coast to another win.
The OP was right to make the thread as his point was correct; we're still 5 league wins away from any record of Spurs' and, as the OP pointed out, the BBC was wrong.
The OP didn't not say "we will break the record for consecutive wins tonight"
It's the media getting carried away with records being broken when they aren't just like Spurs the other week and Jamie Vardy last season.
...and BradfordWe should start making our own up. Here's one Spurs didn't beat: The record number of wins wearing a new club badge! Or the longest unbeaten run wearing a new club badge. That may even be a global record!
I'm all for celebrating City's successes and achievements but some of the records - especially that Spurs attendance one - were completely made up. The 1934 record still stands as 'the largest crowd for a competitive game on an English club ground" and as "the largest attendance outside of London and Glasgow"
City hold a few of these type of records: City have played more games than anyone else at the Etihad. More senior members of the Royal Family have watched City home games than any other club's (King George V, the Queen's Dad; Prince Philip - all attended home City games!). We hold the record for broken necks in a cup final! Meredith chewed more toothpicks during the game than anyone else. Most Mancunians at a football game - March 1934. Stats & history - here to be used and abused to give the impression of status or achievement....and Bradford
Haha, yes we could have some for:
The largest number of games played in a purple kit
Biggest away attendance in York...

Both, but he wasn't the King when he came - I meant to say Duke of York but it doesn't sound as impressive. Basically, 3 successive monarchs have been to City's grounds (Queen was at Commonwealth Games). Prince Charles also went to the Commonwealth Games and I'm sure William will have been - and if not he's likely to come one day - so it could be 5 consecutive reigning monarchs!King George VI was the Queen's dad.
Or did you mean both George V and George VI?
