As someone said earlier in the thread it does seem like they've left it too late to do it now but if they were going to wait until now to do it why not wait another week and at least have it during half-term so more kids could make it?

They probably had 3 committees, 10 working groups and at least 15 project managers work on this, and I bet no one thought about kids being off school.......

i only found out about this yesterday and my work were predicting almost end of the world carnage with 100s of 1000s of people swarming into the city.
i dont know one person who went and not seen one picture of it anywhere?
