I think he's gotten over his worst spell when it comes to decisions, but his insistence on making the game about him irritates me no end.

He completely guessed that sterling committed a handballed offence last year and for that reason alone should have been suspended for a long time. It's basic refereeing if you can't see the incident then you can't give a decision.
