Afterall, regardless all the other stuff that has happened recently, it seemed obvious that as Yaya was getting older his overal performance over the year was in visible decline, there is nohing weird to me to replacing aging players with declining performances in principle and the picture seemed to fit Yaya perfectly even if he was still a ver good player capable to some great moments at times.
Manchester city is rich, splashing around money is more limited by how much they are allowed than they could, a team like that can afford to buy the very best available at any time and the longer term decline of an older player would be the obvious moment for a change.

I can't believe some of the posts! Pep has had 14 games, yes 14 (including champions league). We've beaten the rags easily and almost everyone else! We've just been to camp nou, where we made some silly mistakes and lost to Europe's best team. Pep will make sure we learn from it. We have our own Brazilian wonder coming in Jan. It's gonna be some season!
Yeah.. i saw more than a couple of balls played into the box that Nacho would have buried with his eyes closed. And boy does he make those runs....right place, right time.What is annoying me is that when we get a pass round the back to De Bruyne or Sterling, there are no good runs into the box for them to pick out a pass. It was just the same against Everton on Saturday. For all Dzeko's faults, making that run was one thing he was brilliant at. As for our corners!!!

We should have beaten Everton I agree. But the only class team we have faced Spurs were all over us. It was good to watch and sure as hell Pellegrini wouldn't have got 18 points on the spin.
