City v Saints post match

Pep is ruining City. I've been a Pep hater since Barca days. Bayern got the better manager (My posts month ago will back this up). Look, he has had success. No doubt. But he managed a Iniesta and Messi coming into their prime and a Bayern squad who was in the CL Final the year before. He never took the squad past where City made it last year on their own. The loyalty he has shown to the City fanbase has been disHARTening to say the least. We get it, you're the Alpha. But he's sacrificing our present for a brighter future and supporters have this misplaced hope that it will be better down the road. The only reason is that we're investing millions in the future. Nothing to do with him. He buys young players so when he leaves it is his "legacy:. Yaya and Hart treatment is terrible. The Kun rumors are terrifying. You have a top three striker in the world and want your own man. You can see this in his history from Samuel to Zlatan. Tactic formations are great but we don't have the back ups to replicate the class of the first team (no matter the reports of the press supporting his decisions). I realize most will disagree but sack Pep now before our squad is in shambles. Results show the true class. And in the end, Bayern is worse then when he took over. The young players are not the answer to a better manager (Carlo). Why should we have hope that the publics opinion that the young class should overrtake the older just because? Bayern was worse and Barca was coming into their hayday before him. Plastic fans will support him regardless but the true and through fans know he is a mistake.

Hahaha what a load of shite

You're either a grade a **** or you need help.

They are making mistakes due to what is being asked of them. Players misplace passes all over the pitch but when it occurs as it did today just outside our own box then trouble ensues. That is why most managers do not play this way.

About sums it up. If we carry on playing this way - and the indications are that we will - we will win precisely fuck all. It's a risky enough strategy in any league, but in the Prem, which is so much faster and more aggressive than any other, there is virtually no margin for error whatsoever and we can expect to be continually punished. A desire to play beautiful football is laudable, but we were taught not to pass the ball across your own 18 yard line when we were 5 years old. We've played 4 halfway decent and organised teams this season and we've won none, drawn 2, lost 2, scored 2 and conceded 8. Needs sorting

*Sniff*

has there been a post match interview with pep...really interested to hear what he has to say

Well just returned home - Second half was much better and a good goal - other than that very little positives to cling to. It was as if the players are 1. trying too hard and 2. tired. I think we have reached a critical time, one when Pep will understand exactly which players are with him. To be frank our players should be able to adapt to different systems, but in the first half they looked shot of confidence - easy to see it by the number of players who would not play the difficult pass and rather go backwards. We made Redmond look like Ronaldo and it was disappointing. I am sure there are going to be some unpopular decisions coming up with the likes of Komps, Sergio and Silva not being given any special treatment. Pep will change things and if he didn't know what a big job he has taken on changing the complacency allowed by Pellegrini he knows now. My only criticism was his lack of youth on the bench - surely we must see some of theses academy players sooner than later. Overall I have little doubt that in six months time we will be watching a team fully committed to our great manager's philosophy. Just grateful we got a point but a missed opportunity given the results yesterday.

Jesus Christ, I despair

I didn't boo today but don't have any issues with anybody that did. Pep locked them in for 40 minutes so he obviously thought it was shite aswell.

Good heavens. He'd better hurry up, all those salmon steaks and all that brown rice upstairs will be getting cold.

PEP: We had problems creating our build-up. There is a difference between the first and second half. Unfortunately, we could not win. #mcfc
: In the second half, we tried. There was chances and nothing else. We didn’t create too much but we were there. #mcfc
PEP: We are going to accept the situation. We are together. We spoke about the situation we have. We try to go up. #
You can win ten times and then you are not able to win five times. I have to discover the reason why and I am going to find that. #mcfc
PEP: Mistakes are not the reason - not Kolarov’s own goal at Spurs or missed penalties. There is something about how you react in situations
PEP: We will see tomorrow after the players’ recovery and we will decide whether it is good to make rotations (for United game). #

Mistakes not the problem wtf?

I'd like to have seen Nolito a lot earlier, as he seems to offer something different - and by God we needed something different today. Their keeper needed booking earlier. Not convinced that Silva, KdB, Gundogan, Sane and Sterling look comfortable together - don't know if it's too many creative type players, if there is such a thing? Too much fannying around the edge of the area.

However, time is on our side. These players are having to learn a new style of football. Maybe, like last season, too many got carried away with our first 5 league games?

Bravo had a decent game..............

What did they really do? Sane got an assist yes but it's not like they were running their full backs ragged was it?
No they weren't but they made chances and played well. I can't say the same about aguero who the more I watch the more likely he looks to be sold
