The Ref last night

Oh well, i least i feel a bit better now, and realise that i'm not going completely mad. Listening to the twats on talkshite this morning going on about how the ref played advantage for the goal. Yes i have blue tinted glasses. but equally i can be objective. We never had a shot on target throughout (and they couldnt wait to tell us, it was the first time since 2014), but without looking like scoring, we looked comfortable, should have had a penalty (but on current penalty form, i'm not sure that helps), there goal was a definite foul, and some of the other decisions beggared belief.

Rant over!

They were definitely better than us last night at throwing themselves to the floor and winning a freekick, that last 15 minutes was killed by them.

Yep, killed by them because they were shitting themselves against our second string on their own turf.

Not so sure I thought it was a foul at first then saw it from a different angle and thought it was a pen
Fair enough, maybe not as clear cut as i thought. To me it looked like Herrera steps across Fernando to stop him intercepting the ball and then that contact makes him go down.

We didn't have a single shot on target. That's not the referee's fault. We were awful last night and that's that.

I have seen the foul a few times and it was definitely Herrera taking out Fernando, even the tv on the highlights said it was two fouls and a penalty on Garcia.

4th Official was Rag **** Lee Mason.

They were told to only get one result last night. That game was rigged and the scum could only score once from a foul of their own making.

Nacho's and Segio's cards were laughable whilst Herrera went around without impunity and Pogba seems to have refereeing immunity.

Worse "Performance" from Dean in years.

Honestly don't know thought zlatan barged otta over but he'd been going down all the time he'd probably had enough of him

Doesn't mean the ref can't be criticised. If you don't like it then don't click on the thread, simple.

And we managed how many shots in 90 mins ?
The only daft booking was kelchi,s for heading blinds shin

Thought pogba was lucky to stay on had way too many let offs before he finally got a yellow in the last min near enough

Shaw's kick on Navas going unpunished was the worst decision of the night.

I thought Herrera played Fernando, and Fernando might otherwise have got to the ball. The Ibrahimovic/Otamendi bump before was a big nothing to me.

I don't remember Carrick on Garcia in the area early on, but even Ogden thinks it was a penalty.

It just makes it look like we are looking for excuses .
Here's the goal penalty or play on I don't know ?

If that's how you want to interpret it then that's up to you, I've seen no one claim the ref's performance was the reason we came up short.

No excuses we fell short although we played well in patches without looking like scoring really which is becoming a worry in every game lately. However......games hinge on big decisions and if we had scored that penalty and gone 1-0 who knows? He barges into him then catches his legs, a clear penalty.

Dean was appalling. How Herrera got away with his constant niggly fouls is unreal. They seemed to get every decision, especially big nose.

Awful from Dean.

Wasn't a foul when Zlatan bumped Nico, but 100% foul by Herrera on Nando - the fact Dean is looking straight at it tells you everything you need to know.

Appalling.

Never a goal and a clear push in the back of Fernando, who also got likewise at Spurs for the opening Kolarov OG.

It's a penalty all day long on Garcia and the booking for Nacho is just laughable.

The tackle on Otamendi is a shocker.

I've just taken my tinfoil hat off for two minutes and noticed that the bigger clubs left in the comp have avoided each other and been drawn at home....
