He was fantastic yesterday, back to his best, great goals, great movement, playing for the team, sorted out head-butt boy

Makes no difference anyway, but I'm pretty sure the little dink was meant for Spanish Dave

I'm sure it was, but the fact he had the presence of mind to think of it, whilst on a hat trick, is what I liked.

Looked a lot more like the player we signed yesterday than the somewhat selfish and slightly lazy player of late.
I wonder if pep and him have had a proper talk and got him motivated again

I don't think he has it in him to run his legs off 40 times a season without having time to recharge. I think it's the same with KDB, Vinny, maybe Silva too & Yaya would have benefitted from some management in the past & probably lengthened his career.

Bit of a rest, bit of a Pep talk, eased back in.

Probably have to do it again now there's another shitty fucking international break on the horizon.

All the players you have mentioned have been forced back to soon from injuries with being such good players.
It seems now they are being handled better ,but we seem to like de bruyne back a bit sharpish ,where this season we have more options to let him recover properly imho

I think we have run our best players into the ground in recent seasons & it has cost us the year after.

We have basically finished Zabba & Yaya as first choice players. I have mentioned many times on here in past seasons, that people such as Serge & DS are not running freely yet playing week after week.

DeBruyne was killed off early doors last season. Imo, when he's half fit, he's no good anyway, same as with Yaya & Silva.

Hopefully when Baby Jesus arrives, we can keep Serge 100 fit by swapping around with him, GJ & Kelechi.

Baby wait for BJ

I loved how happy he was to score yesterday. It really means so much to him, and to us!

As well as 2 great goals his passing was much better and more frequent. His pressing was also great yesterday. Nice of Murphy to raise this on MOTD.
I am hopping that running more frequently in a game will keep his musles more supple and reduce the chance of stretching injuries that he gets when he accelerates from a standing start.

Enjoyed seeing the hunger. Where was it against Southampton? That's history now, but we have to put another run of results together now

Arsenal and Liverpool looking good. There is no room for error

Looked like a man possessed yesterday did everything scored 2 goals assisted in 2 ran his socks off to receive the ball and all so to get the ball back at times outstanding.

Interesting stat from Danny Murphy on MOTD: "He ran 10.2km today against West Brom. That is a lot different from last season when he was clocking less than eight on average."

Yeah but is last year's figure based on full matches, i.e. 90 minutes? If not, it's comparing apples with pears.

Either way, a masterful performance from Kun yesterday.
