City v Boro post match

Six points thrown away in three home games against useful, but not top class opposition. That will cost at the business end of the season. Unforgiveable, really. Sorry, but amongst others I'm calling Pep on this one. Those were tired men out there. Three subs on roughly the 65 minute mark, 70 at the latest. The game was crying out for it.

missed the first half so cant really comment on that but its so frustrating watching us just casually pass sideways and piss around with it when we are only 1 up because they are always gonna get a chance. We bring it upon ourselves so no point saying typical city or unlucky every game because this is happening far to often. Three 1-1 in a row at home aswell now...

My problem with this team is we look weak as piss whenever teams come at us. Until we get that defence sorted we can expect to see results like this again and again.

10 shots one fucking goal at the other end isn't helping either.
because some of our players have no composure at all. Nobody is going to fix that problem until we get some players at the back who have some composure.

For all our possession, it is far too laboured and lacking in precision, something that has been evident in many of our home games. We rarely ever play first-time passes, and it's the extra touches that allow teams to shuffle across and close the gaps.

Still wasting so many chances to put games to bed, every game we miss a handful. First half we were well on top and didnt give them a sniff, second half we looked in cruise control and they came out of their shell because we never killed them off with a second goal.

Typical for them to score from basically their only decent chance. Poor defending it has to be said.

You can see we are almost there but things arnt clicking perfectly.

Silva shite tackle, all bunched in middle, ball played out left, deep cross, Clichy 'yet again' found wanting. Unaware of the attacking player, ball watching. Very poor goal to concede.

A pattern is developing here against teams prepared to just dig in.

Them 6 fingered wankers are the worst team (if you can call them that) I have seen.
However as with everton and southampton games we have squandered our dominance and it's cost us.

We looked brittle in that second half. Very leggy but I guess the Barca game took a lot out of them. Having said that we only have ourselves to blame. So, so wasteful.

Although Navas played well, these parked buses are when we need Sterlings trickery. Also I am not sure whether Fernando was on the bench, but he should have been out there.

Clichy - soft. He gets beaten like that often. Bravo - sorry, but a shot stopper he is not. Practically straight at him and didn't even get a glove on it from what I could see. So frustrating the points dropped at home.

Very strange second half. Subdued and low energy. Did not create many openings and when we did create something, it was wasted as some of the players were worn out mentality and could not concentrate. Disappointing to drop two points after we dominated throughout the match. That is 6 points dropped at home already this season with at least 4 of those points thrown away. Whatever the reason for that second half, this tendency to throw away points has to stop. Still a long way to go but a disappointing result.

Team was out on its feet at half time. Tactics are great when the team has energy but Fernandinho gets so isolated when Silva, Gundogan, KDB start walking. Goal was always coming I'm afraid. Incapable of playing after Europe.
