Boro fan in family stand

I knocked off work early and got a good seat in a boozer to settle down and watch the match. All was tickety boo until a fat scouse twat sat right next too me.
After ten minutes the gobby shite starts whining like a five year old about empty seats, money, Sterling etc. The usual internet 'fan' shit. As usual i try and ignore that shit but when the vocally challenged micky started banging on about Aguero being 'cocky' and 'shit' i could take it no longer. A 5 minute verbal banjoing ensued and the scouse twat -and his plastic rag mate- finally shut the fuck up.
This was in the snug.
Literally why I will never go to watch a game at the pub. It's always the same and always will be I'm afraid.

Not got a problem with away fans in the home stands, as long as they are respectful. Does my head in when our fans get up sticking their chests out spoiling for a fight because a fan of another team has the audacity to celebrate their team scoring.

I've not really got a problem with away fans in the home end either, but this was a bit different to be fair. He was openly goading fans and giving everyone wanker signs on his way out.

He certainly did ,and some fans took him up on his offer ,should of been escorted out as they were always having to go through the crowd at the top of the sairs the lad that shoved him backwards down the stairs could of ended up in serious trouble if he'd gone down and smacked his head .

Wasn't directed at you Ric, that's why I mentioned respectful. I was in the 2nd tier and it seemed to be happening below, however it didn't stop a number of morons around me getting up like Tommy Ten Men.

It's simple enough - don't give it the big un and for the most part everyone just gets on with enjoying the game. Any away fan unable to do that deserves whatever grief comes their way, but having done the same myself at many City away games, there's no way I'd have been sat on my hands if we'd equalised in injury time as you did yesterday.

Good luck for the rest of the season - you've got a dignified manager, apart from licking Jose's arse and a pretty decent side once they decided to play![/QUOTE

Corrected for accuracy

In SS3 on the way out after the Boro goal city fans were almost having a go at each other so I can see how it gets out of hand. I jumped up though at Blackburn when Anelka scored the winner a few years back in 89th minute and got a few verbals but nothing major.

midllesborough do have history trying to storm our family stand - well back in the maine rd days

The poor fella has to live in Middlesbrough. That's his karma.

So Rugby has fans mixed together, you can drink in your seats, the policing is normal and fans aren't treated like animals. We complain about these things, yet we have 1 away fan near us, and we want them to get battered?

Yeah I don't see anything changing until attitudes do.

Not from what I have seen/heard of late, videos of fans on the pitch fighting. Happened a few times now.

There were these 3 Brazilians in front of me, down a few rows right at pitchside. They had painted 'flags' in support of the Boro keeper. They were singing and shouting to him in the warm up and the stewards came over to ask them who they supported and they said Boro. They should have been immediately thrown out. But no, they were left to it. One was wearing a fucking Barcelona jacket, with a City scarf, holding a Boro fan flag. I was pretty angry and told the steward so, he said if they displayed the flag during the game it would be taken away from them. Glad they left during the game because if they celebrated that Boro goal in front of me they'd have been getting a punch in the back of the head.
