Why not trying having a bit of banter with him, ask what they've won etc where were they last year stuff like that. Then laugh about it together and enjoy the game. The fact that some people get that wound up over one persons actions that they want to assault him speaks volumes for their character and personality.

Think you need to read through the thread a bit to find out why he got a few cracks mate.

Nah, that would just lead to a blue getting banned, better to catch them outside the stadium and kick the fuck out of them.

And go to jail for Abh. For attacking a stranger. Best just leave them to it.

I can see the argument on both sides. I've been in the wrong end on just one occasion and I hated it. I sat in silence throughout and was desperate for final whistle. I'd sooner miss out than repeat the experience.

First of all, it's disrespectful. You want to be around your own on match day. You want to travel together, drink together, sing together and then head off. I don't appreciate outsiders taking our seats when I know full well that more affordable prices would see old fans return. We must all know loyal Blues who can no longer attend. It's becoming a treat for me.

Football is tribal. It's about our club and nobody else. I don't want an outsider playing up when we should be getting pissed off about conceding a late equaliser and dropping points at home.

Don't have a ticket in your end? Don't go.

Just like to park this up maybe us family standers could show as much restraint as these Salford fans as rugby sets the bench mark for fan behaviour !!!
Notice how many women are throwing punches

I knew a guy who stewarded trains to Cardiff and said the rugby fans were more belligerent and resistant to social compliance. Have always found them sanctimonious wankers who look down their noses at fans of "girlyball". Am yet to meet one fan of egg who comes anywhere near to the devotion of some of the noted Blues out there.

They say nice things about you as well.

It was more the sanctimonious wankers bit.

You have to admit that they do patronise and wax lyrical about their game. I've shared nightclub dance floors with rowdy players or seen them throw an egg around Waterloo Station despite staff asking them to stop. Cue one fat **** making comments at me being a football fan too.

I went to Cardiff Arms Park with my dad once. I hated it.

Well based on your anecdotal evidence how could I disagree.

Worked trains out Exeter for 20 years if you were on a Cardiff turn on Rugby days you kept your mouth shut on the platform, drivers were ok when they had reached the driving cab the guards never ever asked to see a ticket, at its worse after the game 65% of them pissed by then.

Wouldn't the guards get a bollocking for being pissed on duty ? :+)
