Anyone happen to know the name of the track played as the teams were lining up in the tunnel? Heard it a few times at the stadium, including as the teams came back for the second half of the QPR game

Thanks in advance!

Was it this, mate?

Dunno, but they played a bit of Snoop Dogg at one point, so kudos to whoever chose the playlist.

If its an instrumental slow electronic tune (sounds like a clock ticking beat) its a track from the movie "drive".... good film too

Try link

That's the one! Thanks
:-)

Always loved that song. The Chicago Bulls back in the Jordan era played it before every home game - it really, got fans totally into the game.

It was made doubly effective by their MC, at the time, with his deep, resonant voice, announcing each player as they made their way onto the court - totally awesome!

This is crazy good - City should do some-such.

And I can't help but think that the Chicago players felt invincible after such an introduction. Imagine the effect of such a feeling on our players at the start of every home game. By the time Jordan is announced, the crowd is absolutely nuts!

Actually, it's pretty criminal that no team in world soccer is employing such motivational introductions - it's easily a dropped point or more every home game.

And how intimidating to the visitors!

That is nuts. We should definitely do something like, it would ramp up the atmosphere wouldn't it? Probably some PL rules that says we can't though.

Only got half way through that and thought it was totally OTT. Sorry, but could not see any PL team doing something like that. The players would have to appear 15 mins before kick off to introduce them all :)

Dispense with shite like photos, fair play handshake, and a break for today's match sponsors to have their photo taken and we start to gain some time back!

That's the one I was looking for too.

They used to announce the team to nightmare by brainbug so I don't see why they can't use that instead, without the players on the pitch of course. When they announce the team when the players are warming up there are very few people watching

I was just about to ask what that song was! Not heard that since Stuart Pearce days?
