First record you ever bought?

Rhinestone Cowboy - Glenn Campbell. I thought he looked cool. aged 9...and it's still a tune!

hit me with your rhythm stick Ian jury and the blockheads from Wythenshawe market, only bought it for shock value ,b- side was aint half been some clever bastards me mum wasn't pleased to hear that on my portable record player :)

When i was 8/9 i bought The Very Best Of The Lightning Seeds... not my proudest moment.

The Kinks greatest hits, vinyl LP.
Seen them live at the new century hall (CIS) I think it was called then, New Year's Eve 19something.....

'A day at the Races by Queen', my brother bought 'Dark side of the moon' the same day, when we listened to them later I was pissed that his album was so much better than mine

First one I bought with my own money was an LP of live steam train recordings with descriptions of what was happening on the sleeve notes...

I feel very ashamed to admit that mine was Frank Ifields "The Wayward Wind".For you young `uns, don`t even bother googling it,its true shite.
mmmm I shall send you the self flagellation whip when I have finished :)

Our first Aussie export to the old dart so don't be oakie , I remember you oakie (LOL).

Mine was Listen to the band /someday man EP by the Monkees or should I say America's attempt to get back at the fab four.

Unless you count the plastic record the ANZ Bank Travelling Man by Bruce Woodley of The Seekers Fame.
