I only joined in for the biscuits

Quite.

The guy clearly didn't see the game.

Absolutely delighted for Yaya to come back and hit two really important goals for us. Goals win games and he delivered when it mattered.

But this is another example of the Match of the Day type casual fan like ChrisDunk not really understanding the game. Yaya got ran all second half by Palace. They were streaming through the middle and our right channel because they knew Yaya either couldn't or wouldn't track them.

It's the least control of the midfield we've had all season. We really missed Gundogan or Silva in there today to control the game and not give Palace such an easy ride when they had the ball.

I thought Nolito for Silva was a strange sub, but Silva was excellent when he came on, got on the ball in tight areas and took the pressure off the back 4.

How anyone could have watched us all season and watched the full 90 today and thought the best thing to do in future is drop Silva for Yaya is just beyond credible comprehension.
Sanity at last.

It is funny ainnit?! Yaya scoring twice, match winner and 3 point in anything but a Pep performance.
This is football and this is City. Welcome Pep. And well done Yaya. Now sack your shite manager.

Gonna be interesting if we do get out of the group stages of the CL, now it seems that Yaya is back in the fold and with Gab Jesus coming in Jan it will be interesting to see who gets a squad place.

We had no control in midfield today but i wonder if we could find some way of accommodating him. He worked hard, he just doesn't seem agile or fast enough anymore.

A lot of us have rightly had a go at his dickish behaviour. But it took something to apologise and something else to perform like that after such a long lay-off.

His future with us is still very limited but it would be good to use his talents thoughtfully and sparingly, then we can send him off as a Blue legend.

Oh, and credit to Pep for the way he has handled this.

No one happier than me right now.

Hopefully his agent will decide discretion is the better part of valour.

Well as I said earlier, I think it's possible Pep & Yaya agreed a way out for him, to enable him to play, if he distanced himself from the horrible, selfish bastard's comments.

But Seluk promised he would not interfere anymore, even if Yaya doesn't play, so we'll see if he's got any respect for Yaya at all.

Probably just putting himself in the shop window for January to make his parasitic agent a few quid, but great to see him back doing the business.

Thing is I wouldn't have him instead of Gundogan or Fernandinho as first choice but him over Fernando everyday of the week. If he's happy and motivated to play that supporting role he can be the difference if not he's basically a ship wreck

We have plenty of players who will contribute when things are going well and we're on top, but what we were lacking this season was that one match winner when we're struggling.

Welcome back Yaya!
