Nope. Not happening. Outside of the fact that it's a poor idea anyway. Not happening coz he likes where he is at.

I doubt we'll go for either. Not to worry, by season's end the world of football would have unearthed some ball playing gems we can pursue. I'm not too worried.

Pretty weird statement considering reports that we're chucking 50 mil at a 30 year old with no Prem experience and may take a year or two to bed in, from another country!

Dijk has been on these soils for a few years now, is younger and is just as good and can only get better as Guardiola moulds him, non...?
 
Glik is a serious option too by the way
He needed a move away from Torino and has since improved Monaco tenfold
Probably the best defender that hasnt yet been mentioned of late..
