Football is Fixed-City

Well, for starters, we scored first, so we weren't ever two down. And Bayern were down to 10 men for a lot of the game, so perhaps understandably faded towards the end of the game. And our 2nd and 3rd goals came from mistakes by two different Bayern players. AN unexpected turnaround for us (knowing City) possibly, but hardly astonishing.

you're thinking about the wrong bayern 3-2...

away game year we won the league under manuel...

Hope you didn't spend too long on that post fella

If there had been a conspiracy to fix the game, it just wouldn't have been played in the manic fashion that I remember. Even if the fix was to produce a high scoring result, it would still have been a tightly controlled match with a relatively small number of chances, albeit with a high conversion rate. As I remember the game, even when the score reached 2-3 and MP was trying to defend the lead there were still a number of incidents in each penalty area. That just wouldnt have happened in a fixed game because of the risk of a flukey deflected goal.

Also, before the score reached 2-3, Bayern frequently went close to scoring a 3rd goal. They just wouldnt have played as they did if the fix required them to keep their score to two.

The busy ****s fine folk on that blog will be slandering researching the Rostov Beaten match now I presume?

Who is "they"? The 2-3 at their place? I've never thought any game against Bayern was dodgy which is saying something considering it's the CL. Some games against Barca however...

Tonights was a prime example.

Both sides knew Barca where winning and that a draw was enough for both of them and that fucking ref!

Some fucker in Asia has won a fortune on the outcome of 2 red cards, nailed on!

Not really sure how a professional referee could genuinely mistake that as a second yellow card.
